Wow. This station actually has a free working bathroom. Way to bring our transit system into the 21st century!!

No trains on weekends for some idiotic reason. Trains do not run late in the evening which is a big problem. Last train from LA to Northridge is at 6:50 which is ridiculous. There is a 4:09am train from LA to here which is helpful, but an earlier AM train to LA also is needed. Station itself is ok. They have security here sometimes which is helpful fo keep the scumbags away. Lots of grafitti around the station so i guess when security isnt here the riff raff get in and start ruining things. 24 hour security is needed to combat this problem. The ticket machines are a pain to use. They give you dollar coins back as change - not fun to carry around, and very few businesses use these so they look at you weird when you pay with them. The ticket machines are very dark and hard to read. They are scratched up from moron criminals. There is a dash bus which stops right inside the station. It goes to the Northridge Mall, Reseda and Nordhoff, Sherman Way and Reseda and turns right on Sherman Way. It costs 50 cents.

Not directly it stops in los Angeles union station and you would need to board another train to get to san Diego
theres no train to Santa Monica Pier. But there is a bus ... unfortunately.... I dont know the route number. im sure next bus. com will have it though. good luck
Nope, you’ll have to catch the bus from Los Angeles (Vignes St) or UCLA (FlixBus or Greyhound)
No you'd have to go to Union Station in LA first. Or buy online or call Amtrak or a bus company. Northridge Station only serves Metrolink and those little local DASH buses.
No. No trains here on weekends unfortunately. From Chatsworth you can take Amtrak to LA but i dont think they have one at 6am for some strange reason. They do need earlier trains!
I recommend checking the hours as they might be different
On Monday to Friday you can take the train there. You just check metrolinktrains.com for the hours and prices. You must buy a ticket before boarding the train. You can buy online, from a staffed Metrolink office at Union Station, or at a machine here at Northridge Station. There are prices for adults, teens and children, seniors, disabled, and students of any age (must have ID). Then you wait for your train and board at any open door you see. The conductor may walk by and ask to see your tickets. The ride is around 40 minutes long i think. Metrolink also has a phpne number you can call for help. FYI, the last train from Union Station to Northridge leaves Union Station at 6:50 currently, so you cant stay out too latw. :-(
