My son and I had a great time aboard the Island Spirit. The crew is great with kids and thanks to their positive encouragement kids can learn to love the sport. If you have young kids, and want them to have a great fishing experience, the Island Spirit is the way to go! Thanks Captain Cody, chef Gavin, and crew for a wonderful time.

My family and I went out on the half day boat fishing off the Californian. The crew was extremely helpful and the action never stopped. We had a great time catching barracuda! The food was great, the atmosphere was very family friendly, the boat was very clean, and we would love to go back and fish with them again.

I was very disappointed from the trip that we took March 19 with the californian. We were three people and caught only one fish. The weather was rough and they should gave cancelled the trip instead of making it happen. It took 3 and half hours to go there due to the rough weather. Half or more of the people on the boat were seasick and vomiting ( I was not but I felt bad for all those young kids that did). We ended up fishing only for 2 to 2 and a half hours since we spent most of our time getting there . They should have thought first of the satisfaction and well being of their customers or at least give them the option to go on a rough weather trip or a raincheck.

I’ve been fishing out of different landings by far this is the best Landing I have ever been to take my kids on the boat all the time the crew is so great with the kids they help in every single way they possibly can can’t wait till March 1 so I can start fishing again

Yes most fishermen are happy to teach New anglers.
Yes they have rod and reel rentals... hooks and weight packets... and various fishing gear n terminal tackle at the landing... good luck... both the Californian and Island spirit have great capts... great deck hands that will help n guide you in having a great experience...good luck

It depends on the type of fish you are targeting and what's provided on the Trip. Prices are listed on the boats website. And are available from the landing.
Call them. I think it's really up to the captain of the boat. I've been on many boats where the captain themselves have a boat dog.

Depends on if you want to go for a full day or 3/4 day or 1/2 day so price changes according boat trip
