I have been here twice; kinda like a hit or miss: Brought my new puppy to this vet for his first time since the prices are unbeatable for vaccines. The first visit I had the unfortunate luck to get assigned this vet who forgot to be a bit more human/gentle with a puppy who had never been to a vet before, especially to get his first set of vaccines (rushed thru everything, and a bit rough with a puppy who had never been seen by a vet- felt more like a number, and the puppy got very distressed) . The second visit, I was blessed to get assigned a different vet, and she was welcoming, warm, playful with the puppy making him feel safe, and relaxed. This obviously helps immensely with the vaccination process since the puppy was able to relax and feel at ease.

They're always so kind and friendly. I've taken both of my cats here for spay/neutering, they take great care of the animals, explain everything and answer all of your questions with care and patience and have an overall amazing staff. I hardly trust new clinics with my pets but they make me incredibly comfortable leaving my pets in their hands

It’s a great adoption place I adopted my dog Daphne and she is the sweetest pup I’ve ever met :D
Juanita Wagner
Very clean, lots of precious kitty's and dogs for adoption. They all look so comfortable, fully air conditioned throughout. Friendly and attentive staff. If I didn't already have two cats I would definitely have taken a couple kitty's.

They said until further notice they will be closed on their website
Rabies vaccination you can give the same day. And also if you are low income they have reduce price neutering.,is better going to see the place before. they will give a paper with what to do before the surgery.
Hi Yaletza, we are a limited admit, adoption guarantee facility. We do not euthanize for time, space or treatable medical conditions. Each animal that is cared for at our shelter is free from the threat of euthanasia while they wait for their forever family.
Hi Valeria, we are a limited admit shelter - we accept animals on a space available basis. Our intake hours are Tuesday - Sunday from Noon - 4pm. Every animal must pass a help and temperament screening prior to being accepted.
Hi Christina, animals on our website are updated as they become available. So it could be hourly, daily or weekly. It just depends.
Calling them would be your best way to find out. I'm not sure how fast they respond to questions. They also have a list on their site of the animals available for adoption.
Is really sad. There is not space in any of the shelters. Im taking care of 2 baby kittens too. One you findout you are on your own when you rescue kittens you get scare to do it again.
I don't work there but I do.know they r open all days but Monday. You must make an appointment to adopt i think.. give them a call for the dets
yes, its a small fee that covers spay/neuter, chip and vaccines
I dont think so, when i took my dog to get neutered they told me he had a red spot on his stomach & it could be a rash, to take him to see a vet for it. So i dont think they offer any vet services.
Can I get an appointment for dog vaccinations? Where can I get wound care for my dog?
Anytime, I don't think so, but, always you can call and ask.
Please call the county at 311 to report. We do not have jurisdiction to act in such cases.
They are very professional and they will help you find a solution. thank you
I agree with Mr. Raymond you have to confirm your appointment but most likely everything is fine, the appointment exists.
Not sure. I was there for my kitty to get shots and neutered. They do have a lot of beautiful cats that need forever homes.
No the puppies are not free, they have discounts for elderly and food stamps recipients. Cats are free and neuter. Have a good day
I'm not sure about that been ilegal and I live in a building Apts in Downtown Miami and I have a lady friend that have been feeding abandoned cats for long time and I never heard of any issues with that but since you asked I would like to know if it is illegal or not? I'll try to find out
Yes!!! The animals need loving
From Key Biscayne, there's an animal hospital over the bridge on 27th Ave between coral way and US1. They offer rabies shots as well. They are also very affordable. It's like a brick color building with yellow (or white). Hope this helps
Hello, search the internet. Mostly they say it must be done by a 'mental health professional' I got one with Scott Segal / compass health at 125th Street NMia. Good luck 😀
Of course they do! And they are always looking for new help!
Surgery is around $30 vaccines probably $60. Is cheaper than dogs.they have run s test that is for felines leuquinia .also they have an option where you can have her like if she lives en your backyard. That is even cheaper, some cats do not like stating inside.
They will accept the kitten but you can google other Vet places who will take the kitten
You have to fill out a form for many reasons. They want to make sure people are serious about adopting & just not wanting to play with a dog. If they let everyone do that the staff would be spread to thin to handle serious adopters. They want to make sure it's a home for long term & not trying to hide a pet from a landord who would eventually be returned. Another reason is they need identification of anyone left with a pet because they have had pets stolen. This is a limited admittance shelter meaning no pet is euthanized for space or length of stay.
No, the Humane society of Greater Miami does not adopt out rabbits. Only pups, dogs, cats, kittens.
Prices on website . Ist Fvrcp $28, dewormer $7, nails $10, if healthy & must have had for 2 weeks.
Yes they do. I was told $41 for cremation with no ashes & $160 with ashes. That was for my 5lb dog.
I tougth it was a pet named flower Peace n love 🌼 child 70s style It does read as if asking for a pet availability for adoption!!!!!😁😁😁😁
If they have them, yes you can adopt them. Check their website frequently.
No
I'm pretty sure you can go to their website and make an appointment
You need to call then before Only by appointment
I have a cat that you might want to adopt or i can give him to you. I have to many
I need an appointment for my dog Rabbies'Vaccine . They always told me that THE WAITING LIST IS CURRENTLY CLOSED. When can I have an appointment finally?
By appointment only.
Yamila, Feel free to give us a call and we will be more than happy to help!
Might be intestinal parasites, definitely you should take her to the vet
Not really sure. When I arrived on Saturday to neuter my dog in NMB I saw several teenagers with uniform shirts, so it's possible. Call the main number for NMB.
I recommend you call or visit the place and ask. I only visit the place and I do not have that information. Thank you
I would call them first before showing up with any stray...they may charge you also they are not letting anyone inside..also this one is tough..dade County has a kill policy i believe..if no one adopt s them within a certain time line..the pet gets put down
No one is allowed inside the place..only employees..so for time being..until further notice..it all in front
Tere, pls look at the previous answer with the website info...

yes, just talk to a volunteer and they'll set you in a private room or in outside patio
Go to web site
Yes! you should just call their office and ask for available times to do community service.. cuz dates verry.
You can donate them at either building. If you walk in, there's a huge bin they have for supplies. Or you can give then to the lady at the information desk. I'm so so sorry about your dogs. I'm sure they lived a loving and happy life.
Some vets recommend 7 weeks if they go outside or are around male cats, as they can get pregnant at 4 months.
Hi Daniel, we apologize that we were unable to assist you today, but there are other facilities open today. If you were looking for our clinic services they are closed every Sunday and Monday and we only provide preventative services - not emergency care. We do our best with the resources we have available to save as many lives as we can and provide assistance to the community.
They give shots only. The VCA Aventura gives discount for first-time
I’ll give them a call
It is best to see with "human society" if no one can find who can take care of it
Hi, our clinic is preventative - so we do provide de-worming treatment for dogs. However, if your dog requires more extensive treatment you will have to go to a private vet.
I have not seen any signage relating to senior discounts at the location.
you would need to call, also if you stop by they have a list of prices for all their services.
Do you mean spay/neuter? Trapped strays are free. With an appt I believe its $18.
yes
I think there is
No, if you drop an animal off you must surrender it unless you are using their vet services. There's also no guarantee that they will take the animal.
I think so because there is a clinic next door. In any case you can call to confirm.
You'll have to check with the front desk on that one.
Visit the website and contact them directly: http://www.humanesocietymiami.org/
Yes
No

Yes. I believe the fee is $20. There is also a health check the cat must past
no, you don't even have to identify yourself. Just go to front desk. Donations are accepted and welcoming 😉
you should consult a veterinarian for any meds given to pets, don't use human meds with pets.
hi, yes they'll take... but be careful, you can also call Animal Services
You should take him to a vet clinic for check up, vaccines and deworming. At the Humane society they have a low cost prevention clinic where you cam take your puppy for that. They attend by first come first serve
You can take a cat to get neutered or spayed for free,I am not sure if vaccines are free ,to take a cat to the shelter for adoption is very difficult there is to many cats, if is a kitten has more chance to get adopted than grown stray they are consider ferol animals and they are not protected like dogs that depend from a person to survive Option # 1 call all shelters before going there with the cat if they are asepting cats Option#2 you can tray to find a home in social media or your friend just be careful some people used cats as prey for dog fights. Option#3 you can keep it as stray leaving outside your home the basic vaccines are very cheap.
The humane society does not collect cats, but if you take them AND the cats are from the street, sterilization AND vaccination is free.
You should call them (:
All kinds. Go and visit. You will be surprised.
I'm not sure. You should call them but usually they will only pick up new litters of kittens n puppies.
They maybe full. It is kitten season. If u adopted from HSGM, they must take them.
Yes, basically all major credit cards
I would call them
Give them a call or drive by.
The dog has to live inside your house. Can be in your back yard as long as you are monitoring it for a number of reasons such as weather conditions, fresh water and any other wild animals that can get into the back yard, racoon, frogs, mice etc. Adopting a dog is a long term commitment. Think that a pet is another family member, oftentimes even more special!!
Yes i do about 12 that need home and lots of kitty love. Why do you ask?also the they have cat that are fix and for 50 dollars you can have one https://goo.gl/search/Cat Cat, Animal
If they have any record of biting or escaping and running loose its the beginning of a process must call animal control or tomorrow go there and demand a hearing pitbulls are sometimes mix breeds and dont qualify for harsh punishments if they are not pure breed and no record of biting a person or running loose DONT WAIT ANYMORE TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE its not mentioned why they got taken You may need to get all shots and licences in order
The N.Miami Beach office temporarily has a grant called Foma, with the Food stamp or Mediciad letter with govt photo id (name must match owner info). Surgery, rabies, & FVRCP #1 is free until grant runs out of money. You can call to set appointment or request on website for an appointment.
The best way to see what is available is to go to the website & view the pics. They also have a match a pet program.
Go to humane society
Female cat:$50 Male cat:$25
Post pictures and bring photo to humane society also posters rewards anything good luck God bless Does the doggie have a chip or collar with id Did it look like it was stolen or escaped If stolen you can make police report
Hi Nidia, We are a limited admit adoption guarantee facility. Adoption guarantee means that every animal that is admitted to our shelter is free from the threat of euthanasia due to time, space, or treatable medical issues. We provide shelter, food, veterinary care, and plenty of TLC while the dogs and cats wait for their permanent home, no matter how long it takes.
They do
Yes. The price of vaccines depends on the size of the pet and whether the vaccine is only for a year or three. The best thing is to go. The prices are very low and there is a charge for the tag too.
If you get medicaid or food stamps you get a cheaper price If you dont they're cheaper then regular animal hospital Appointments are not necessary for shots🍀🍀🍀🍀
Hi Nicole, We accept dogs on a space available basis. We are a limited admit facility and can only accept an animal if we have the space for them and they pass a health and temperament screening. Intake hours are Tuesday - Sunday from Noon - 4pm.
Hi Lydia, we are a limited admit adoption guarantee facility. This means any animals in our care are free from the threat of euthanasia due to time, space or treatable medical conditions. The animals in our care remain with us until we find them a forever home, no matter how long in takes. We do not transfer our animals to MDAS - it is the reverse - we pull animals from MDAS when we have space available in the shelter. In fact, several of our long time shelter residents are past MDAS residents.
Hi Stephanie, We accept cats on a space available basis. We are a limited admit facility and can only accept an animal if we have the space for them and they pass a health and temperament screening. Intake hours are Tuesday - Sunday from Noon - 4pm.
No humane society helps with shots required for licencing adoption rescue and shelter you take your pet to an animal hospital or private VETERINARIAN😨😱😨🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸VETERINARIANS in humane society ate only for above mentioned services not even emergencies are taken there cpuld be.a.clinic adjacent.to it
It s best to call it depends on puppys age and if you are a snap participant its alot cheaper some adoptions provide free shots on occassion
They have beautiful kitties
It ranges. Puppies are around $200, dogs over 6 months are around $100. You have to go there and fill out some paperwork.
You may apply to be a foster pet parent or volunteer taking care of the pets in the shelter.
You get new one every renewal
Why aren't they taking dog with them? It's a family member JUST LIKE A CHILD! Absolutely no guarantee the HSGM can or will accept and they are the ONLY no kill facility. Miami Dade Animal Services is HIGH KILL add is HSBC and Broward public kill shelter. ONLY way to keep alleged "beloved" pet safe is TAKE WITH THEM! ZERO REASON THEY CAN'T! Or if you're their true friend YOU adopt.
In South Dade
This is not the Humane Society you have to call them
I really don't know because of the hurricane I know they were closed for a couple of weeks the best thing is to call them because it depends on what you need them for hope this is helpful
$17 for 1 month, $49 for 3 months, $93 for 6 months, $186 for 1 year. The Zoetis company now offers rebates for certain amounts bought. The old program of 2 or 3 free ended 2/15/18.
Pure breeds are normally sold by breeders Good luck but maybe rescue a mix breed its a blessing
I found a kitty in the park near my house, she is healthy and is a really cute kitty, I' m taking care of her but I live in a small apartment and my mother in law has a dog, it's not the right environment for the baby, she can not grow up in a small room or a bathroom and unfortunately I dont want to leave her until I find a family for her, would you like to adopt her?
You need to get a kennel or the humane society.
When I went I did not see any pet rats or any uninvited rats either. Cats and Dogs only. They may be able to re- direct you to where you can find different animals. Lol!
You need to make an appointment. But they open at 12 today
Call Miami Dade Animal control. They will be able to remove it.
