I love this place!! Even during covid they took care of my pet and gave the best possible experience. They still do curbside but are as friendly and work efficient as ever. The Doctor explains anything going on with your baby perfectly and the nurses and staff are the best! They literally saved my Pitbull from dying. Other clinics I went to wouldn’t attend me because of the breed I have but this hospital took care of my Pitty just like any other dog. He got cuddles and the staff spoiled him rotten!!! I LOVE this place and I highly recommend

Im very disappointed in the animal hospital, and i will NEVER go there or recommend this vet to anyone else! I went there just yesterday when my little kitten was feeling sick, I paid a total of $232 just for a visit and some blood work done. Not only that but they wanted me to pay more than $600 on UNNECESSARY tests! The vet came out to tell me that nothing was wrong from the test results and that she was probably just going to die because they didn’t know what to do. Not only that but i couldn’t even be in there with my kitten to support her. This caused me SEVER EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, causing my unborn baby to also feel this EXTREME DISTRESS. Not only that i’m pregnant and more than emotional, but i was not about to lose one of my babies that day! I went to another vet for them to just tell me that her glucose was low and that she needed to eat! after that amazing visit with an amazing vet my little girl was doing just fine and back to her normal self. SO MUCH FOR TELLING ME THAT SHE WAS JUST GOING TO DIE, THANKS A LOT SOUTHLAND ANIMAL HOSPITAL!! Im honestly traumatized by this experience. (photo of my kitten when i thought she was going to die) in response to my response from the owner, the other vet i went to - Quail roost animal Hospital- the vet there was very experienced with cats especially kittens and did not have to preform any other tests to diagnose my kitten, so stating that she had to get other tests done to save my lil girls life is absolutely repulsing, and i demand a refund at least for the visit cost of $50 i believe, this is absolutely outrageous! If i listened to the vets here, my kitten would have literally died! and not sure if you read my full response, but all she needed to do was eat and bring her glucose up, unlike the vets at southland i got a great vet that knew what exactly there were doing and charged way less, probably because they truly do care for the animals lives!

I am absolutely appalled! I had an emergency with my dog this morning, and my vet was unable to see her this morning. My vet highly recommended Southland animal Hospital. So I immediately gave them a call, and told them of my situation. That my dog needed help and they were highly recommended. I stated to the lady on the phone, that I understood that I did not have an appointment, and would accrue a walk-in fee. I am aware of that. Her response was to tell me that the emergency consultation, get this! $750! Excuse me?! That is just to see my dog. That’s not counting the expenses that will accrue for whatever it is that they do to her. Now, just to put this into perspective. I have worked with horses my entire life. For an equine vet, to drive to the property that the horse is on. With all of the equipment in the truck. I have never paid more than $150. And that is for a vet to come from West Palm Beach to down south by this vet, southland animal hospital. So you are telling me, that I’m going to take my little dog to your facility, where everything is already set, and I just give my dog to you and you tell me what’s wrong, that costs $750? And once again, that fee does not even count whatever it is that they do to her to find out what’s wrong. That is just to walk in. That is absolutely absurd. I understand there being a walk-in fee, I totally understand that. That’s to prevent people from abusing the system, I totally understand that. But $750 for an emergency? That is unethical. I do not recommend this place after hearing that.

Man! Great clinic. I made the switch. From now on, my vet is Dr. Toledo. Great staff. Great service. Awesome attention to details. And on top, they offer coffee, colada! I have no complaints. I recommend to see Dr. Toledo and his staff for anything related your beautiful loved pets. They will treat you with the same compassion and love one feels for our furry companions. Even after losing ur dear Frou-frou, Dr Toledo and his staff felt our pain and are very grateful for this. Thank you Dr and thank you staff. You ladies rock!
