Fabric to die for! I found this spot through a Google search. Great pricing. If you like upholstery fabric the choices are magnificent and many have co-ordinates. It is warm (no AC) as it is in a factory, the place is huge. I went 2 days as there is much to look at. I saw a nice variety of all types of lighter weight material too. Limited trims. I would give them 10 stars if I could. The owner is very nice. I must warn they do not speak English however try hard in every way to accomodate. They walked my mom and I out to the car both days as we purchased many yards and it was heavy. Check it out, I can't wait to get the material back to New York to start designing.

I LOVED this place for the prices, variety, and despite it's disorganized notions area. Since the change in ownership, I probably won't be going back. It used to be run by an elderly gentleman and another mid 20s gentleman. Now it's run by a middle age creep. I don't speak Spanish but can get by with broken Spanish and hand gestures. New owner was good and helpful until it came to the cutting table. He only spoke Spanish but still tried to make small talk. I tried to be nice and polite and even used Google translate to help me converse with him. Here's some of the numerous questions and statements he made. It was regular chit chat till the end. "Where are you from? Where are your parents from? How old are you? You look very young. This fabric is $8 but, for you $5 (he said this NUMEROUS times). Why don't you have a husband? Could I have your phone number?" I tried to keep turning around the conversation but it's hard not knowing much Spanish. PLUS, I paid with card and stupidly had my receipt texted to me. If you want to avoid him, bring a friend, pretend you don't know Spanish, and don't take out your phone so you don't have an awkward and uncomfortable experience like me. If I'm desperate, I'll just bring my girlfriend with me.

Marcelino's Fabric Store is awesomeness in a wearhouse. Absolutely the best prices in all of Miami, nice fabrics, long rolls, buttons galore and the service is great. Lace, trim, zippers, appliques, and thread!!!! All colors and the cheapest prices in town! 3000yds for $2-3 in all colors! Plus, a bunch of Canastilla items for Traditonal Baby outfits, bedding, blankets and more!! My abuelita introduced me to this place and I go back every time I need a fabric fix.
