It’s sad that I have to write such a negative review. I have purchased equipment from here several times. The guys that worked with me were great, very informative and were helpful. I decided I would be purchasing a lens however, I didn’t have my credit card. My husband had his and was willing to make the transaction over the phone, not to mention the card is also in my name and they could have easily verified that information. They were about 45 minutes away from closing and my husband was not near by. For whatever reason they were not willing to take the payment even if my husband was on FaceTime to verify. I would have considered going back, but what was said was insulting and in the moment I felt like I was being profiled. The employees exact words “we don’t want to see anyone else get burned, you know?” Not sure where he was going, but he lost the entire sale. Almost $2,000 worth of equipment could have been purchased. The sad part is that I have made purchases over the phone before. All good! I drove another 15 minutes to Cardinal Camera in the KOP mall and made the exact same purchase, and my husband was able to verify everything over the phone via FaceTime without a problem. I can respect wanting to protect the identity of others, but when you make a remark like the sales rep did I feel a certain kind of way. Go to Cardinal Camera. I ended up getting a better price for everything anyway.

My go to spot for any new camera gear! I have been there many times and have yet to have a poor experience. - The guys in there are welcoming and so knowledgeable. They take the time to really answer any questions you might have and find exactly what you need for your situation. I have never felt like I was being scammed - I have also compared prices against larger companies like B&H and its totally comparable. When I am making a big purchase I like to be able to touch, feel and see the product and walk out with it that day, so having the brick and mortar store is very convenient. Parking isn't too bad, there is the street right next to the store that has meeter parking if you don't want to park in the few spots right out front. The camera shop has awesome costumer service and great products in stock. 10/10 would recommend!

I had purchased cameras from Camera Shop of Bryn Mawr years ago, and today it was time for a new camera body and new lenses. I was so fortunate to find that Greg Miller, who has been there for many years, was in store today and able to help me. His expertise in all the different products Camera Shop carries is impressive. He is incredibly knowledgeable, and he patiently showed me a wide variety of cameras and lenses, explaining each model to me, allowing me to take as much time as I needed to pick what will work best for me. He answered all my questions thoroughly and made very helpful suggestions as well. It was a great experience with superb customer service. I couldn't be happier!
