The best place for your post op care and the only place I trust with my recuperation. The office is clean and well maintained. All the girls in the office are amazing and go above and beyond to accommodate you. Exceptional customer service for sure. Ari the owner makes sure that all her clients feel welcomed and she gives you the best advise for your post op care I love her motherly vibe. Thank you so much A&E for your attention and everything you do. Trust me you will be in the best hands with Diana,Eli, Jenny and their massage manager, these ladies have a magical touch and they will leave your body looking PERFECT.

I am 4 weeks post BBL with liposculpture. Is it ok to start the lymphatic drainage massages?

We suggest our patients to try the lymphatic massages, in most cases, one or two days after surgery, to get the best results. You can perfectly start now. But always follow the recommendations of your surgeon. The recovery takes around 4 to 6 weeks, you must perform lymphatic drainage massages, for me more... we recommend 8-10 treatments for the body, and you can continue your normal activities, perform light exercises, then increase the routine without any problem.

1 year 9 months ago had vaser lipo with no post surgery treatment. Is it to late for massage therapy.

Anyone can have a lymphatic drainage massage at anytime even without undergoing vaser-lipo as some women do it on a regular basis to reduce the water retention. I don't think that not doing a MLD after your vaser treatment would have done any harm to you, it could have delayed your healing slightly initially, but it is long enough now for any healing process to be complete. As a general rule, our body regenerates any damaged lymphatics with 6-8 weeks after liposuction. Besides that, many patients feel the necessity to get a lymphatic massage to help with their lymphatic system in a regular basis...

Without Lymphatic Massage (LDT or MLD) the inflammation can evolve into fibrosis (a permanent hardening of the tissue) or a seroma (pocket of serum) can form. If you do not do the massages, you run the risk of not correcting the formation of fibrosis, and the recovery process is much slower and more painful

Is lymphatic drainage massage painful?

A lymphatic drainage massage uses pressure applied to key areas to unblock the flow. This technique is completely painless, as constant soft pressure is applied and increased slowly. However, The post op massage is a bit annoying the first days but totally necessary to avoid fibrosis and help you with the recovery process.
