We celebrated my husband’s birthday at Dixie Fish Co last night and had a great time. We gave our server Alisha a little bit of a rough time but she handled it well and was awesome all night. The only reason this is a 4 star review instead of 5 is because the whole restaurant is outdoor seating. We didn’t know that before going and felt a little foolish after arriving. The fans in our area didn’t work very well, so even though it wasn’t sweltering out, it was still slightly unpleasant. Had we been able to feel the fans from our seats we would have been perfectly comfortable. Also, the sweet tea is not super southern-style sweet, so if you’re like my father-in-law or husband, you will not prefer it. Lol Food was great! We started with smoked fish dip, calamari and fried green tomatoes. Entrees on the table included fish and chips, the whole fried fish, and I had the moonshine mussels as my dinner. The star of the show was 100% the fried fish. We will definitely be back.

All of our food was delicious! I ordered the whole fried fish, best decision - it was so good! We also had the peel and ears, which were really good too. Can't wait to go back!

I thought it was above average, but I had some problems with my food. I think the bun on my grouper sandwich fell apart a little bit too much. Good spot but not the best ever. My family loved the key lime pie. I thought it was just average. Worth a shot, but probably not one of the absolute best places around. That being said, Gus was an absolute stud of a waiter. Love that guy. He had great recommendations

Despite some crazy efforts to find parking, we were very happy with our evening at Dixie Fish Co. We were lucky to snag some bar seating, and the restaurant continued to fill as we dined, so there was a bit of a line as we left. Our bartender was awesome; very attentive, prompt and friendly. She was also very honest when we asked her recommendations, and actually suggested the less expensive option each of us was considering! This was very refreshing, as I never know if a server is just trying to get me to spend more. Her suggestions were perfect: my shrimp burger was very flavorful, and the red potatoes a perfect side; wife's BLTAE was fresh and hearty, with a generous portion of fries. We also enjoyed the selection of local beers on tap, the overall atmosphere, and the views of the harbor. Be prepared to search hard for parking, and wait to get in, but it is worth it!

What is your question
It's open, with a nice breeze coming off of the water. It was very comfortable
We have mostly stayed in private residences in Fort Myers and Fort Myers Beach but we did have a great stay at the Marriott Resort & Spa Sanibel Harbour, about 20 min north
No, this wonderful restaurant does not sell bait. Perhaps there is a place nearby that does.
Yes lots of TVs around. You can sit outside outside and see the TVs too.
