Thrift City - Margate

Stopped in today because I was in the area. They should NOT call it a thrift shop when you pay the same to more than retail. My son wanted an old beat up car…. When I turned it over it said 8.99….. I can get him a brand new FP at target for that. I ask someone where the bathroom was… she rudely point quickly and didn’t utter a word… I had to search for the bathroom on my own. I won’t return.

I was attempting to purchase a bag and there was a tag inside but it had been disconnected, so I asked the manager if there was anything we could do and she walked away before I could finish asking my question and just said no. The girl at the cash register was really nice though

They do tend to price up the designer and nicer brands a lot but if you’ve got a keen eye you can find good deals. The home goods selection was pretty good, as well as the bags. I wasn’t blown away by their shoe selection. Lots of clothes, very well organized by category.

This is a nice quiet thrift shop. They have a nice selection of glassware. I like coming to this location because it's quiet and never really too busy. The staff is high nice. There's a decent collection of clothing. It's really hit or miss with me at this place but I love buying glassware because its still one of the thrift shops that haven't hacked up the price on glassware. Update: Ever since about five months ago this location has employees that just open and close the store when they choose. I came here at 6:30pm and even though closing hours are @7pm the place wasn’t open for business.
