Nice to know I don't have to drive too far to see the ocean! Cute little beach, if you want to getaway minus the long drive/traffic to South Beach. Don't expect a long stretch of beach area but it is cute for what it is. Went to catch the sunrise, be in nature and take some nice shots. I missed the sunrise but it gave me what I was looking for. Definitely going back!

What a peaceful day to spend a beautiful afternoon in!! I had been to the restaurant which I remember enjoying, but I finally got to visit the beach area and walk by the man made Pool, feel the sand between my toes a d just enjoy my day. Loved it!

Nice place to catch the sunrise I. The morning without having to go to Miami Beach. It is lonely... so I suggest going with someone. You just never know as it's open without any security on site, as far as I can tell. Very peaceful ✌️

This park is a hidden gem. You really have to know how to get to it. Alot of boaters. The beach is really nice There are three life guard stations. Showers and bathrooms. There's a Tiki bar on the beach. There is also a restaurant. We enjoyed a few appetizers. The raw oysters were very delicious. The serve was attentive. Sitting in the restaurant you have a great view of the beach and water. The water is kinda a lake. On the weekends they have music. A very nice hidden gem in Homestead.

Thank you for taking the time to post your inquiry about the atoll tidal pool at Homestead Bayfron Park. The atoll tidal pool is very similar to the one found in Matheson Hammock Park and works in the same way, with water flowing in and out of the atoll pool straight from Biscayne Bay. The deepest part of the pool is 10 feet, but buoys cross the length of the pool, denying access to swimmers for their protection. This doesn’t stop access to fish and other marine creatures from coming close to shore. Swimmers delight in water that’s always calm and clear. If you bring snorkel gear, you can see small barracuda, mullet and even mangrove snapper while you swim. Yes, although they are not allowed in the water and must be on a leash.
You can play dominoes and other games and make a good chinstrap, it is a very good place for everyone
There are crocodiles in the area and signs warning about them everywhere. In Florida you must be careful in any open body of water!
yes it is a nice park with water and bathrooms
Yes. Obviously it may be a little difficult on the sand, but there are sidewalks that go very close.
Not in the park. But there's planty of hotels close by.
There are a few rv spots, which are usually not used. I've seen on occasions a couple rvs set up for over night stay but you'll probably have to set it up with the office. The gates at the entrance, exit are closed nightly so you're stuck inside unless you have a small moped or some sort to lift over the gates. On the marina side, they'll open up the gates for you if you have patience & honk your horn.
Pets are not allowed only if it is a dog 🐕 guide
Yes but it costs money. I don't know how much.
Masks and distance are on. Safety first.
If the only thing they prohibit is bathing after six because there are no life guards after six
There are no pets allowed signs, however people do bring pets to the park.
They are violating civil rights. Metal detectors are allowed in all Florida public beaches.
Yes. There is a restaurant with a bar. You can take your drink or beer to the sand.
No
Yes, most people do or bring your own
No, it would be leaving it in the car in the parking lot
I wish you could, but I have attempted several times. They simply dont allow it
Just when lifeguards don’t wanna work. They close the beach and tell people there’s an alligator in the water, but don’t try to look for it, you won’t see it. It’s just a silly excuse.
No
Zero. We were last Sunday. M
Should be they are always open
The park is free. It is a park that has a Bella Vista to what it Biscayne Bay. Also if you go during the week you can see the fighter planes that take off from Homestead air base fly very low and it is nice to see doing their maneuvers. The park is good to meditate reading a book abusing with your partner.
If you open
We ate at La Playa today, 2.5.2019... One server for the entire place! Poor service! Outrageous prices for frozen food! Sad because this place could be a money maker! Pack a lunch or picnic and take in the gorgeous scenery!
Open with new owner and menu.
It is right. Ólo the parking 7 dollars per day
Its free to go to the park. You only pay for parking if you go to the Marina side.
Yes everything is up and running.
