One of the worst consultations I ever had. After just talking with him for 10 minutes, looks like he saw little profit for him in my case and started to dismiss me, when I still have more questions for him. Is fine if is not interested in taking my case, but I paid for a consultation, but he started to cut my questions short, and answering with "who knows", "maybe". Worst $100 I ever spend.

My experience with Lawyer Cabrera and his assistant for many years had been the best. In every aspect of legal advisory and practice I had received successful results for immigration law and other matters, lawyer Cabrera has an extensive knowledge and experience, that you can probe every monday morning, when I or anybody can ask question about immigration in his facebook site and he always have a savvy answer about doubts or concerns, I have not seen any lawyer around the area to answers live question about every personal immigration case. My legal questions and cases are in his hands where I am completely secure that whatever procedure they take is the correct pathway to win my case.

Attorney Cabrera is very knowledgeable and straightforward immigration lawyer. Will pay attention to your problems and go "the extra mile" to find solutions, even in a situation like mine, which was very complicated.

Questions & Answers

What all do i need to start a business as an immigrant?

Apart from the regulations regarding organization and incorporation in every state, there is no limitation for foreign nationals to open or own a businesses in the United States. Given that Immigration is a federal subject matter, and business organization, regulation, and taxation is both federal and state regulated, you can open in on any legitimate business enterprise without fear. However, if your immigration status is irregular, the fact that you own a business does not protect you from the government initiating removal proceedings against you. The ownership of the business is not going to be jeopardized even if you were placed in removal proceedings. Obviously, the personal and economic consequences of that happening will certainly affect any business that you own, but it is not a situation of you losing ownership of your private property. To be able to provide you more specific answers, a personal and detailed consultation is necessary.

Where can i go to get a taxpayer and employment ID number?

The answer will depend on your specific circumstances, but the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is the entity that handles such matters. Your question is better suited for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), because unfortunately our firm does not handle tax matters. Thanks.
