Saw some students doing their school project. It’s a nice museum with collection of classic cars. Fun to browse through them

This is a interactive museum where you can get in almost all the cars they have on display. That is if you don't mind the big steering wheel. Great collection of cars on display including 1922 Detroit Electric, 1935 Chrysler Airflow, 1941 Lincoln Continental, 1959 Edsel Ranger, 1937 Pierce Arrow Town Car and much more. There's also a reading room full of different books on various cars. Admission is free but donations are suggested. They also rent out their vehicles. The museum is conveniently located near the Green line metro.

What a great exhibit! Plenty of beautifully maintained and restored vehicles. Lots to see…they even have a DeLorean! Icee cream shop has coffee, donuts and of course ice cream for a little break.

The website stated that there was a "suggested donation," but we were told we had to pay before we could enter. They are working with a skeleton crew, and some of the options touted in the brochure were not offered. For instance, my mom is an antique car enthusiast, and was looking forward to the docent-led tour (listed to take place at 11 and 1). It was not available. Also, the website states that you can go for a ride in one of the old-time cars on Sundays between 10 and 3:30, but that was also not available. Nonetheless, we had a good time. There is a massive showroom which has about 25-30 cars on display. There are several from the early 1900s, and even a couple more "modern" sports cars (CA 1960s). We marveled at how massive some of the first-run cars were (very few safety features, and large, roomy interiors). There is a "Hot Wheels" play area for kids, but there are only 6 cars for them to play with; the rest are on display. There is what looks to be a racetrack that the kids could assemble, but it is not functional, as many of the pieces are missing. There is an ice cream fountain on site, which also has very few menu items (no shakes, floats or sundaes as listed on the website). Nevertheless, we enjoyed a scoop each, and called it a day.

I havent seen those but they switch up their cars so u might come across them.
Yes, they have several cars they give you rides in, including 1948 Willis and Thunderbird (1959?). Great fun!
Donations are requested and only an entrance fee for special events. I would bring a 10 dollar donation if coming when it's not an event because parking is free (amazing for LA) and the experience is amazing. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, restrooms are clean and it has AC.
No, not yet. We are getting closer to an opening date however. Once we have that date, we will announce it on our social media. Please make sure you follow us or subscribe to our newsletter.
No we are not. We are temporarily closed due to Covid and city restrictions.
Hi RMarie. Yes we are currently open for visits as of 6/18/20
There is parking in the facility for about. 10 cars I believe
You'd have to ask them directly. Try Fireball Tim.
The display varies. What is on display this week will be replaced with something else in a few weeks/months
