Employee was rude and asked me to leave because of my mesh face covering. I have a medical condition that prevents me from wearing any other type of mask, so I purchased a mesh one that is 100% compliant with the state mandates and CDC guidelines. When I asked her if the store had a written mask policy that I could see, she said no and claimed that the owner had told her not to allow mesh masks in the store. This didn’t add up. I visited the store earlier in the week and had a perfectly pleasant interaction with a different employee who didn’t say anything about my mask. But today’s employee was rude and incredibly loud, announcing to the entire store that “We don’t allow mesh masks in the store” when I walked in.

We had tried to go to the art class in the same complex. It was closed on Tuesday. My daughter was very upset because we were leaving the next day. The woman working at the toy store saved the day. She did a craft with my daughter right behind the counter. She helped us pick out a game, a coloring book, and a new marker set. They are great!
