Rampant theft has been going on for months and the management don’t care at all. They refused to provide any help and security to solve the problem. Police comes to our apartment every week. Also, I have been moving in for half a year and still haven’t received my referral fee. A lot of the tenants also complained about not be able to get their deposits back even they kept their apartments clean. Apparently, all the management cares about is $$$.

[PLEASE READ before you consider Savoy - from a current resident] - Savoy is not a safe community - The management is doing nothing about it For the past year, many of the residents' storage units and cars have been broken into. Note that these storage units and cars are located in an access-controlled garage, not out on the streets. When confronted with this, the management (who's very slow in responding to any requests) simply said that there's nothing that they can do. This is comical because the police specifically told them what they can do to prevent this - security cameras and better door locks. THEY CHOSE TO DO NOTHING. As a current resident, I can't wait till my lease ends so I can move the hell out of here. I can't imagine how much stress this must put on those with children and older adults.

I've been living here for almost 3 months and have been pretty satisfied so far! It's a fairly new building, so all of the appliances and amenities are modern, which was one of the biggest deciding factors for me. Also, I'm really sensitive to noise, so finding an apartment with good soundproofing was important. Thankfully, I'm on the top floor and don't have to worry about noise coming from people living above me, but I also don't hear my next-door neighbors, so it seems like the soundproofing is sufficient enough. The only main complaint I have related to noise is that I can often hear the train. A few honest drawbacks: First, I wish they had inspected my unit more carefully before I moved in though, as I had to deal with a broken fridge and a window that wouldn't close during my first week. In addition, there needs to be something done about the package pick-up system. It's impossible to find any package in the small closet-sized room that is meant to accommodate the entire five-floor building! There has been so much overflow the past month. (Yes, there are smart lockers, but the delivery people always just put your packages, even small ones, in the package room). In regards to the staff, Daniela is the best :) She helped me throughout the leasing process and after moving in so much! I can't say the rest of the office staff is as friendly as her though, as they sometimes give off the impression that they don't really want to help me... Like all apartments, Savoy does have a few flaws, but I'd say it's nice overall, and that's coming from someone who is really picky.

Daniela is one of the management team members at Savoy and she is very friendly and caring. In addition, she is super welcoming when I first moved in. She helped me to explore the room options when it was close to the Christmas Break. Last not not least, whenever I needed something for my apartment she’s always there try to solve the issues for me.
