Awesome house but I had to ignore the no trespassing sign to take pics. People live in the property around it and we’re staring so I left. Place is a historic land mark but no one ever took care of it to preserve it so now it’s falling apart.

The badly neglected Redman-Hirahara House was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2004 as listing #04000734. The house was designed by William H. Weeks in the Queen Anne architectural style and built in 1897. Fumio Hirahara bought the property in 1940 for ten dollars. The Hirahara family lived in the house until the 1980s even though the family was held in internment camps for Japanese-Americans during World War II.

The house was adopted by local historical group. They were relying on donations to fix the house up about 15-20 yrs ago. Nothing came of it. It now sits there undisturbed.
