I had an incredible experience at the store the other day! I went in the same day my AirPods started acting up and was promptly helped. Sarah was my Genius Bar help and she was Amazing in every way!! Very patient and gave me a welcoming feeling to the store, 5/5 for the service!

My phone case is less than a year old, and cracked on both sides making the buttons inoperable and defective, but deemed misuse by user, because cases are supposed to be removed from the corners (I was accused of removing the case incorrectly without being asked how I remove the case), which I should have known when I bought the $60 case because I also took time out of my day to attend their iPhone 13 pro case removing class. The entire interaction was deflating, and I knew that I was going to be denied when the associate attempted to disqualify my exchange by looking at my phone and asking it it were a 12 pro. Aging my phone and case, which would have automatically placed the case outside of its warranty. And then I was offer 10% off of a new case. That only covers the sales tax in this great state, thanks Apple. Thanks for making me feel like a valued customer today.

I would give zero stars if possible. I had spent hours on the phone with apple support this morning trying to resolve an issue with the screen. Apple support agents were difficult to understand due to their foreign accent and after they were unable to fix the problem I was told by them to take it to my local apple store and that it would take an hour at the most for the repair. It took hours for a repair that should have taken a few minutes except for diagnosis. After I asked to see the manager he was understanding and did not charge me for the service, and brought the phone right out. After driving home after the repair I used the phone for the first time since the repair and the screen went black during the first call and lost the call. Now I have to take another day off work, which I need the phone for, and go back to the Apple store. Wish me luck. Bye the way apples robot answering service is a joke. Typical of these robot menus they don't have what you are calling about and just drive you nuts. Why can't apple have enough respect for their customers time by having a knowledgeable person answer the phone. I really wish smart phones had smart people repairing them.

Appointments are best. However...the skills of the techs vary widely. Make sure you get a tech experienced in your specific situation. If they struggle (my experience) request another immediately or you'll be there literally hours longer then you need to be. Use your intuition. You'll know.
