This is a hidden gem of community farm right in the heart of San Jose. You can buy wonderful fresh produce, fruits and herbs here so inexpensive. I love the farm stand and all of things that they sell here. Each week, you’ll get to see varieties of stuff. The farm is normally open to the public on Sunday from 10am- 2pm and I believe they are now also open on Monday as well. It’s great to fill your kitchen with all of the fresh ingredients at Veggielution.

Fabulous community farm. A great class is offered once a month from a community chef. There was a $10 charge. We had a delicious breakfast from their food truck. Then picked veggies to use in a recipe we all prepared in our class. We all prepared the meal and then enjoyed it at the end of class. Very fun.

1st Saturday is such an amazing community event!!! Go if you have a chance, and enjoy programs like Art in the Garden, Yoga in the morning, Youth Garden, Cocina, Community Farmer and more..

Open Saturdays 10 am to 2 pm
Not from Veggielution myself. Your best option is to 1) check with second harvest food bank or 2) find a compost bin to put them into so it gets recycled back into nature. You can drop it off at Veggielution in their compost bin.
