There's not much to add with these good folks. Their interesting and unique product mix always yields plesent surprises. Their staff, even though always busy are always upbeat and ready to answer question which I always have. I want to make them my new "go to" grocery store.

Avoid fresh fruits. Berries are often sold moldy and you can't see it until you get home.

Just started using this particular TJ more frequently not long ago and I must say have changed my star from a 4 to a 5 no doubt. In the beginning I was getting frustrated with small compact car drivers that not only think they can park in any space even if compact spaces are available but I realized that this city is full of those selfish idiots period and I hope some are reading this post. However, it's not gonna change the way I feel about this store and the staff. Just don't be surprise if u come out oneday and cannot get into ur car until iam done with my shopping..lets see whos is selfish & disrespectful now... hahahaha. Because of all the car break-ins around the area, shopping at a place with a secure parking is important to me personally. The staff have always been helpful and amaizing and always go out of their way to help out with questions and finding products we looking for. Thanks TJ Bay St... u know u will be seeing me everytime iam gonna be over ur side of town no doubt.... ❤️ ✨️ ❤️

There is a small store in Tenderloin that sells halal food, but I can't remember exactly where. Maybe Eddy and Leavenworth, and it's a private store, not a trader joes. Tenderloin is not the most pleasant neighborhood to walk, but it's safe. This Trader Joe that you are asking about is about 10-15 minutes walk from Lombard plaza, food is good but I could not tell you if it would be considered halal.

Ya there open at stone town, they don't have full supply of food & a limit of 2 items per customer yesterday about 30 % or so of the store 3-17 20 alot of the food is ready made
