They have a very nice collection of Huichol art, which I appreciate.

Janet and staff are like relatives and treat a customer that way. I buy my Native gifts there and purchases help our jewelery makers economically. Janet long standing shop owner we know.

This is the premier jewelry store in the East Bay to go to to get your silver jewelry repaired. High quality work at a fair price (I got a quote of $700 at another jewelry store in Albany on Solano for repairs to a Hans Hansen silver bracelet. Bill's Trading Post did an excellent repair job for $300). I don't want to short change Bill's Trading Post for their vast and gorgeous array of jewelry for sale. They have a deep and stunning collection of Native American jewelry and a woman named Angella who is expert about this art.

Long may they prevail! I've bought treasures there since 1968, but they've been hanging in there for our indigenous artisans since 1939! through all the turmoil of economies and Berkeley taxes, rents & other financial pressures. American Indian art, moccasins, clothing, blankets and jewelry etc. etc. go in and out of fashion, but always IN again. I hope & pray they survive the business cycles, as they are a beacon of spiritual goodness in this city. Native American spirituality is reflected in objects made in a spiritual way. These are. It's not just a crass commercial concern, it's part of our community.

They don't usually buy stones that are not set in jewelry, but you can call and ask.
Yes, sometimes. It's good to call ahead and make sure they're open to buy at that time.
