Honestly, I have zero complaints— K Street is just lovely. I’ve had to look at many other apartments within Berkeley to see what is the best bang-for-your-buck with a student budget, and nothing else even comes close. The apartments themselves are all newly refurbished and very clean and modern with thick walls for privacy between apartments and between rooms in the same apartment. Other apartments around the city this nice are all farther from campus AND more expensive, and places other than K Street that are this well-priced are ugly, no offense, so K Street was super appealing even before even moving in. They also have really good maintenance that does weekly hallway cleaning and mopping and is also extremely fast and courteous with in-apartment requests. After living there for a year I never had to file any, though, apart from one for a lightbulb replacement which was fixed the same day I put in the request. The office staff is also super nice— I have come in multiple times to ask the staff random questions since this was my first time renting, and Daniel and Persia are always there to quell any anxieties about such big investments. They always make sure to answer in a way that is professional and informative without being confusing to someone who is a first-time renter. Overall the apartments and the building staff are both super nice, so I cannot recommend this place enough!

Having living for a year here and it was a pleasant experience. The building is kept clean and well managed by Daniel's team and staffs here are very helpful. Its proximity to grocery stores and schools makes life really easy and convenient. Really glad to live here!

Throughout my time living here, i did not experience much issues. The staff were great helping me to find a unit that I looked for with a great price and resolved any service request we had. Specially I would like to thank Daniel for managing the team and keeping everything top notch. He helped me a lot with moving out and the progress of finding a new tenant in less than a week. He is very kind and intelligent, creates friendly environment and actually cares about the people who live in complex.
