We love a lot of aspects of this campground, particularly the activities available. However both times I've stayed, there's been a significant late night noise issue. Quiet hours are supposed to be from 11pm at night, but just don't seem to be enforced. We'll definitely be back as day time folks, but likely won't be camping overnight here again.

Respectfully one of the worst places to stay from a family experience. While the property is decent at best, it is way too expensive. For the places to be as outrageous as they are, the houses and campsites should be better (cleaned, supplies, etc). Nothing is provided for your stay where you pay more than you should. Moreover, they tack on extra prices for EVERYTHING. If you provide a place that can sleep 6 then you shouldn’t be penalized for the 6 people that you bring. If you’re looking for a better place to stay where the people aren’t condescending and rude anywhere else is better than this. Each trail head is vaguely marked if you are choosing to ride. If you’re going to pay the money for this, it would be better to stay somewhere that your money would be put to use. Also, these people ran us out of the water for swimming but when alerted that a side by side was flipped in a trail and people were missing nothing was done to find the people who had flipped.

The campground itself is well maintained, nice and clean. The only downside was the shooting range nearby would disturb peace and calm. Off-road motor bikes passing by was nice to watch sometime.

This is one of the best campgrounds for large groups anywhere in the northern Virginia DC Baltimore metropolitan areas I mean you cannot get better than this It's located outside of Winchester and they have a swimming lake they have hiking trails and biking trails and four-wheeling trails I think they have hikes up to the top of the mountain clips overlooking the lake They have amazing camping they have a bunch of campsites and I think they're open year-round I mean I camped here in like January one time a long time ago so check them out give them a call and see how they can help you out They are really awesome and they've been around for a really long time and they know what they're doing just make sure you behave yourself and clean up

I've personally seen a Prius and a Mustang make it without issue.
There is a white sand beach area dedicated to swimming. Anyone can swim there. With kids, more difficult to be social distant. All other water areas are for canoe/kayak and fishing. Some people were paddle boarding but I saw a HUGE snapping turtle and I would not swim other than where dedicated.
No there's a Costco about 30 to 40 minutes away
Riding I believe no. Shooting I don't know. Call them they are all very nice
Its much less than 20 all day. Verry rustic i mean primitive. A real jem of a place unique in everyway.
I was there in January. The range is really nice. They cleaned it up about 4 or 5 years ago and now have a range officer on site at all times. I hear they are opening a 500 yard range soon also. You would have to call for times.
Yes from 9AM to 5zPM
