I've come to Vallejo U-Haul for years to get propane and hitches installed on both my vehicles. I'm finally posting after all these years. The manager Calvin is always a joy to work with and the nice woman Precious was that was indeed Precious! The guy Rob that installed my hitch was so professional and pleasant as well. I have never had an unpleasant experience in the 20 years with this local company. I'm sorry for others that have not. Maybe they were simply having a bad day.

I have been a customer for 4 times last year, about once a quarter... and my daughter 4 times this year. Each time a hand cart and blankets were in the truck. The vehicle was returned without using the items and I was never charged. I was very surprised when on this occasion I was charged for 2 bags of blankets that were returned unused. Is this a new policy? I'm disappointed that I wasn't informed of this new policy, if there is one. Please advise. Hello?

Always had good experience with this location. Sometimes its understaffed for the workload but they work hard to get customers through. Charles was the representative when i was there and he was working his tail off and honestly deserves a raise for the amount of work he does. If this location wasn't understaffed it would be much better at keeping the flow of rentals in and out.

Horrible staff who couldn’t care less about their customers. I called them and informed them I dropped it off at the drop of location by the appropriate time and asked them to make a note of the drop of time as the owner of the drop of location didn’t really know what to do. Debra Cyrus checked me in and May have been the one I talked to on the phone. She just said, well we don’t show it as checked in so you may be charged for it for another day. Really?! I dropped it off, you guys need to check it in or insure the drop off location checks it in. Then she told me that I am the one that needs to make sure they check it in. Really?! Why do I need to make sure their contractor does their job?! Their contractor is responsible for insuring the vehicle is checked in NOT me. I gave them the courtesy of calling them and letting them know I dropped it off!!! Never renting another truck from U-Hual AGAIN. Penske Truck rental charges more BUT at least they care about their customers and have some common sense and don’t leave you with a headache!
