Get off from this station, and walk around Valencia Street, where you can find a lot of restaurants, music, theatre etc. I love the energy and vibe of this area!

Let’s be honest, this is the Bart. We aren’t in Switzerland here. This station is definitely much more lively than others, there’s always folks hanging around, graffiti tagged walls and the escalator is always broken. But I’m gonna look at the bright side here, the Bart has brand spanking new trains which are comfy, cool and keep your ears sane from the clamorous screeching of years past. Change happens over time, not over night. Keep it up Bart, I’m not gonna compare you to Zurich, but you’re trying.

BART station at 16th and Mission is easy to navigate in and out of. It's very busy and they keep it relatively clean. There's no restrooms here. There are many connecting buses to take you to the rest of the city and lots of places to eat. There's also a drug store if you have any last minute needs prior to getting on your train. Great place to use if you're visiting the city's mission district. BART ticket machines and add fare machines are available in the station.
