Bethel Baptist Church

Our music program is conservative and sacred, regulated by scripture. It is worshipful in fitting with the nature of God. We have a grand piano, clavinova, small orchestra with strings and brass. We sing from the Trinity hymnal, Baptist edition, and a Scottish full psalter. The orchestra plays with congregational singing on Sunday. We have a choir that sings in a God honoring, so conservative manner.

We don't think it is important how long it is. We are respectful of people's time, but Sunday morning starts with Sunday School 9:45-10:45am, morning worship from 11am to 12:30-45pm or so. We have a Sunday evening service that is 6-7:30pm, sometimes shorter and sometimes longer. Our meetings are for our church, not designed for visitors.

We believe that every true Christian, born again by the Spirit of God, is already indwelt by the Holy Spirit. We are non-Charismatic. We don't believe the sign gifts are for today. We believe that we have all the power of the universe in the Third Person of Trinity available and enabling already. We don't believe in a kind of second blessing theology, after salvation experience as described.
