Dr. Young has been an incredible surgeon. He is warm, friendly snd professional. I felt very confident in his ability to perform the hernia surgery I needed to repair my 3 hernias. I had a great experience at the Aspen surgery Center. I received the best of care and repair from Dr. Young and his use of the Da Vinci Robot. My recovery was seamless. I highly recommend Dr. Young, his staff and the robot, I named Roberta!

I received amazing care from Dr. Young. I found him caring and compassionate. He took the time to answer all my questions and help me understand the benefits and risks associated with the surgery I had. The surgery was succesful and has made a big difference in my quality of life. A big thank you to Dr. Young and his staff!

I recommend Dr. Young without reservation. He took excellent care of me before, during and after my surgery. He is clearly a very skilled surgeon and my recovery was as easy as it could’ve been, in part because of the care he took. Dr. Young explained my condition to me clearly. He gave me options and time to research them. He answered all of my questions and put me at ease. His staff was also very professional and did a wonderful job dealing with the insurance side of things. They called to check up on me after the surgery and I felt well taken care of.

I am a doctor and when I did my research for a surgeon for my own surgery I went with Dr Young. The most important thing for me was surgical skill and he is well recognized by his peers as an excellent minimally invasive surgeon. I had an excellent outcome and recovered quickly. He also has a nice bedside manner and listens to what his patients say. His office and staff are very nice and responsive as well. I highly recommend him.

Hi Lydia. Thank you for contacting us. Dr. Young advises you to see your primary first as they have the skills to solve many issues. If they cannot help a referral can be made to direct you to the appropriate doctor for your condition. Happy New Year.

I'm looking for someone to do hernia surgery that is a part of John Muir. My medical plan is Health Net and one the assigned locations is John Muir

Hello Robert, We do take Health Net. If the plan is an HMO through John Muir you will need a referral from the primary. If it is PPO, you can call our office and make an appointment.
