I've walked past this place a few times without really noticing it. The other businesses nearby get crowded and loud so it's easy to miss. The parents were in town and I was looking for somewhere NOT crowded and loud and ended up here. There is indoor and outdoor seating under shady trees. The service was excellent. I'd say the food isn't exactly thrilling but it's priced fairly, tasted good, and the parents really liked it. I'd also just add for anyone wondering- there are a lot of reviews here talking about waiting in line to order which almost made me not come here because I wanted a full service sit down restaurant. I didn't actually even see a way to do a quick service walk-up order but the building is pretty big so I probably just missed it. Anyhow, I'd recommend!

Sent to the back patio with no menus or explanation. Sat there for 10 minutes while multiple employees walked around and ignored us. Finally went to ask if we could have service and were told it was counter service. That would've been good to know when we were sat. Opted to go back to the front part of the restaurant so we could have table service. Bartender obviously wasn't stoked about serving us. Asked her for some happy hour menus and she smiled in an annoyed way and said im bringing them out. I said, "OK, we'll keep waiting." She became agitated and told me she didn't deserve that aggressive language. (I was not aggressive) and that maybe we'd be more comfortable across the street at Iron Horse. So we went to iron horse and had a lovely experience. At first we were wondering why this place was empty while iron horse was full. It became pretty clear.

So I got off work last night decided to walk down the hall to Café Bernardo… I walked in hoping to get something to eat and I knew it may be close to their kitchen closing… I asked a couple of guys who worked there if it was too late to get something to eat and they were so friendly and said no, go ahead and order you’ve got time…I’m respectful of that and I really appreciate how they treated me. I ordered my go-to Thai Chicken Salad which never fails and a pint of 805, sat outside, relaxed and enjoyed that amazing salad and great beer… thank you Café Bernardo!

Came last weekend. Sign said "seat yourself". We sat outside and it took over 15 minutes to be greeted. Bar patrons smoking on the dining patio. Once greeted we were told by one employee that a server would be out momentarily. Another 15 minutes passed without seeing anyone and the first employee checked on us again; he apologized for not being taken care of yet, and when prompted said lack of staffing was not an issue. Nice guy. Our server eventually comes out and takes our order. The food comes out and my wife's order was placed incorrectly by the server. Server takes it back and brings her the item she ordered after 10 minutes. We still hadn't been provided with silverware and napkins. I ask for napkins and silverware and they were provided. We get the check and the item that was originally entered incorrectly (and that costs more) was on the bill. I ask to have it removed and replaced with the actual item that was ordered due to price discrepancy and got some passive attitude back. On a good note, food was great, but boy did we feel like we were nothing but an inconvenience to the server. Still tipped. This is the last time we visit.
