Closed at 4:30 or earlier on 02/02/2022. No direct communication. Visited again today and everyone was nice…. But the dmv is a tangle… the people in Sacramento told me to go to a local office… and the people at the office told me to call Sacramento. All because of a paperwork error and slow systems.

It functions and better if you have time and relax. A sign says NO CELL PHONES, so nobody waiting is talking, texting, googling anything. I have never seen anyplace except here where people are doing nothing but wait.

Yes, they do have walk-ins. You do have to wear a mask. And you do wait most of the time outside.

I have the same horrible situation, if you get any more information please let us know. The DMV needs to remain open even if they have to set tents up in their parking lots. The police stay open so should the DMV!

As it it has been for several months, yes it is extremely packed. It's best to make an appointment or the wait can be very, very long. Due to constant system changes the wait time is very extensive which is why an appt is recommended.
