Room was extremely dirty and dusty. Had to have them re-clean the bathroom from toothpaste and spit in the sink and mirror to the urine on the toilet. The floor hadn't been vacuumed someone's nail clippings were on the floor. Shower wasn't working had to have maintenance up to do a fast fix so we could shower. Also the rooms all said 12pm checkout time. Then was told that it was 11 on Saturday but it's not posted anywhere. Would not recommend staying here!!

If I could give it zero stars I would. Stayed here under previous management and failed at checking reviews before booking. Checked in after waiting what seemed like forever with one girl behind the desk. First room reeked like cigarette smoke. Second room had a chirping non working smoke alarm. Third room had bed bugs. We were told they were overbooked and to take the room or leave after we already paid for the room. After being exhausted finally agreed to the chirping smoke alarm room after changing the battery.Hotel is very warm, no AC running. Room had A/C unit that barely worked. Sheets and linens are yellow and stained. Room is dirty. Breakfast the next morning was absent, nothing but a few containers of yogurt with no utensils. One large gallon of milk for the hotel general population to share. Owner comes in and throws several large boxes of cereal on the counter. Im fairly certain this is a violation of health code. The young lady at the desk was trying her damndest working for this slum runner. She took all of the brunt of the hotel guests making excuses for the owner. No discount even offered for the inconvenience. Don’t even consider staying here, needs to be shut down.

Kinda run down. Doesn't smell so great. All of the life guard equipment was in the pool. people were nice enough. Room was satisfactory. *** Additionally, there was supposed to be breakfast between 630am and 1030am. I go down to eat at 645 and there's nothing but a sign that says " breakfast in bags at front desk". I go to the front desk and there's nobody and nothing there. You do not get what you pay for l, don't come here.

I usually don’t write reviews but I’m going to give my honest, whole hearted impression. I will start of by saying I am a little on the boujie side and extremely picky and clean. My husband and I booked this room for 1 night 3/26 because we were going to a wedding at Bear Ridge and this was the next closest hotel other than the hotel Peak n Peak except we paid $100 for the night opposed to $200 and friends stayed there with a similar experience to ours. I will start off by saying yes this hotel is dated and it IS a 2 Star hotel. I think some of the other reviewers went to this place with unrealistic expectations expecting a 4 Star hotel. Remember we are also in “Covid times” also so staffing I’m sure is an issue for them which isnt the current employees fault. I will start by saying we arrived around 1:30 PM and check in is at 3 but the wedding was at 3. The girl at the front desk was very nice and allowed us to check in when we arrived. Please read this with an open mind. Our room: the lighting was dim but it was clean and the bathroom was clean. And remember I’m extremely picky Yes the water was yellow but considering the area is underdeveloped kind of rural and the plumbing in the area is older there is probably high levels of iron. There weren’t chunks in the water indicating it was dirty it was just yellow. I wouldn’t drink it but i usually don’t drink tap water but yes I brushed my teeth with it and yes showered in it but I didn’t wash my hair because my hair is color treated. My only complaint was that the water wouldn’t get hot enough. The TV worked with no issues and in room fridge and microwave was clean. There was a hand written note from the housekeeper which was nice. Overall the room had that grandmas house homey feeling. The bed was comfortable however I noticed the sheets were kind of yellowish but I realized they were being washed in the same yellow water. I know they had been washed because they smelled faintly of laundry soap but not overwhelming and the tags on the blankets and sheets were melted so I know they were near sterilized with the high heat of the dryer! Beds overall were comfortable. The next morning the same girl was there to check us out and I’m pretty sure she is busting her butt doing everything there and I’m sure she is probably even cleaning the rooms too. They do have bagged breakfast(cereal, yogurt, fruit, breakfast sandwich and danish) which was nice and yes it is FREE so I’m not sure why people complain it’s free they don’t have to offer it. I’m not sure about the WiFi because we weren’t staying long enough to use it and we obviously didn’t use the pool so I can’t speak for that. Overall it is exactly what I expected a 2 Star hotel and $100 with prices today is a 2 Star price. If you have a little bit of patience, a heart and a brain you can look past some of these issues and feel comfortable with your stay. Would I stay for a week no I would go to Chautauqua for that but a night or two in this place is ok with me.
