Cambria Hotel West Orange

The room was spacious, clean and has every thing that you can ask for (modern bathroom, small fridge, coffee maker, microwave, vent in the bathroom and handheld shower head). Staff were nice and checking in and checking out were good too. 4 stars because when we entered the room it had a smoking smell that didn't go away, as if someone just finished smoking. So I guess the carpet smells that way from a previous guest because all the hotel rooms are not smoking as per the receptionist.

I stayed for three nights in this hotel. I received very friendly text messages prior and during my stay making me feel welcomed. Unfortunately the room did not meet my cleanliness standard. The carpet was work and dirty and in general the room was not very clean. The bedding was not "fresh" and did not invite for sleeping in it. There was also a smell in the room after I returned from work each evening and I could not open the windows. I am aware this is not a high-end hotel but cleaning should not depend on whether a hotel is high-end or not. I have stayed in other Cambria Hotels and generally had good experiences.

The Cambria hotel in West Orange, NJ was excellent. The staff are helpful and the amenities are great. The room was super comfortable and up to date. It's right next to 2 shopping pavillions and about 3 mins to a main highway for ease of access. Would definitely stay again when I'm back in town.

The staff and service was excellent. Petrie at the front desk was awesome. The chef made a most excellent salmon, and they went out of their way to find us wine glasses that we could take to our room. Will definitely be back. Thank you for the hospitality during a difficult time.
