Really didn't like this place. Came here with friends for the first time. We were looking for a hang out spot to meet up once a week for food and drinks but we did not have a good experience.

I’m not a drinker, so I can’t speak about their beer or drinks. But I’m an eater and their food was great. Fish and chips was delicious. The fish was thick, tender, and flavorful. My wife raved about her smokehouse burger. Our waitress seemed a bit grumpy or at the end of hard shift, but I’ll forgive her because she kept my soda glass full.

BEBACK- 4 OUT OF 4 Stars The bad- The waitress forgot a request and I didn't get asked if I wanted a refill on my soda. Hence, only 4 stars. Since that's out of the way, the best thing about the place thus far is the fish and chips that I ordered. I chose the 4 ounce and not the 8. It was juicy, tender, and the breading did not swallow up the fish with each bite. I mean, it wasn't all breading with no fish in sight. The tartar sauce was excellent as it did not taste like it had too much mayonaise. Oh, on those who commented on the greasy taste, well, the ones I've had in England were, guess what, greasy! So its authentic. I loved the decor of England and London as it reminded me of my time there. All that was missing was the British accent. It was raining during my visit, so that also reminded me of England. Anyway, this will be my go to place for fish and chips since I live close by. I'm glad they serve food now because when they first opened up, I was told that they only had drinks. Talk about being bummed out! I'll be back soon to check out the rest of their menu...maybe shepherds pie? Bangers? Scones with Devon cream? Steak and kidney pie?
