We dropped by for ice cream. The person who took our order was obviously new. I'm not sure how experienced any of the crew was. We went through the drive-thru. They weren't very busy and there wasn't a line, only 1 car in front of us. They were quick to take our order. I asked if I could get some chocolate put into my cherry freeze and was told no that they wouldn't do that. That was disappointing. So we got a regular cherry freeze. We got a blizzard and a shake which were made the way we like them. When they made the freeze. It was obviously a training experience as 3 employees worked on it together. They over filled the cup which sounds like it would be a good thing, except they only wiped the mess off of the outside of the cup as they handed it to me, leaving a mess under the rim of the lid. Though I tried to lick off the excess, it began to melt and drip all over me, the steering wheel and all over the car. It was a mess. Obviously there's another training experience to be had on this one. The parking lot was clean. The employees were friendly but not highly organized. We were only in the drive-thru for about 7 minutes. It would have been nice if they would have added chocolate to the freeze as I asked, but overall it was a good visit with the exception of the mistake which led to the mess. Without the mess and adding chocolate to my freeze would have changed my review from 3 stars to 5...

Can't really review as I was never served. Pulled to the window, was greeted and told to wait, 9 minutes later still no order taker so we left. Drove back by 15 mins later and the truck that was behind us in line was STILL at the window waiting for their order. Would usually give the benefit of the doubt, bad days happen, but the employees were visible thru the window, and weren't doing anything but talking.

I have stopped to get a quick bite to eat at lunch time and on the way home from work at this particular dairy Queen on Lancaster. Every single time I stop there they screw up the order. Tonight I stopped for people and my family that were at my house because my grandchild was born today and the order wasn't even close to what I ordered. Only about half of it was there the service at this particular dairy Queen is the worst I've ever seen in my life. I will never stop there again

Ayo whoever worked 2-23-22 at night time didn’t do good. Didn’t even get my right order and then this other persons order was like drenched in bbq. Whoever was on grill needs some help. And whoever was on window/drive needs help too. Onions not even in da box

Questions & Answers

It would be nice if the workers at night made the desserts correctly instead of having personal conversation. Not only was my order wrong but it wasn’t even mixed properly and was just a blob of soft serve in my cup. Horrible service!

I would let the head manager know what's going on on the night shift because it's clear the assistant manager either doesn't care or is part of the problem. Even if you didn't get any names all you have to do is provide is the date day and time of your visit they can easily find out who was working don't worry about getting them in trouble because it's obvious they don't care about their jobs. You as a customer pay their wages... no customers no pay it's that simple. I worked in the food industry for many years both as a server and a manager and appreciated it when things like this was brought to my attention because I wasn't there open to close that's why there's an assistant manager. If there's another situation where you're not satisfied with your order... fast food or a restaurant with wait staff say something but if not at least document it photograph it and report it in a timely manner. You may not have been the only person this happened to or the last.
