Srs. Helping Srs. has been such a great gift since relocating my dad to be closer and live in an assistant living facility. They are a routine and caring presence, which alleviates the stress and responsibility of feeling like I need to see my dad more often than I am able. The communication is great and very clear. I appreciate the daily updates after their visits, because it helps me know how my dad is doing. The companions are really willing to do anything asked. Our companions will give my dad a shower on an occasional basis when the assisted living staff schedule does not work out to do so in-house. Our companions are friendly and one has even begun helping with one of the daily events at the facility. During a recent COVID scare, when I was not permitted to visit my dad, it was a comfort to know that our Companions were still able to go visit him and ensure his well-being. We are so thankful for having found Srs. Helping Srs.!

We used SHS with my grandfather when he moved into a Nursing home. His companion was so beneficial for all involved. SHS was easy to work with and they were very transparent the entire time. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for care for their loved ones.

I have been working with SHS for almost 4 years now and with the same client too. SHS is a great company to work for because they truely care about you and serving our elderly population. I'd highly recommend SHS to any friend or family who need help caring for a loved one. Happy to be part of SHS family!

I've been working with SHS for 3.5 years and it's been an incredible experience. Our office team is top notch and very committed to helping our client base and supporting our caregiving staff. The families we work with are fabulous care partners who are deeply invested in supporting their loved ones. We also feel very fortunate to have seasoned, mature adults who are an exceptionally engaged group of caregivers and take advantage of lots of learning opportunities to help make them the best support they can be to the people they work with. I feel very fortunate to be a part of something so special and wouldn't hesitate to use this service for my own family.

It's a loaded question, but important to get involved as much as possible in the community. Contact the local senior center for events and volunteer opportunities, look at places like MeetUp, consider a part time job. Hope this helps get you started.
Hi Patricia, yes we hire older adults 50+ for part-time caregiving opportunities. Please visit our website to learn more and complete the online application if you'd like to apply.
