For a baking lover, this place is a must! King Arthur flour is in grocery stores across the US and I had no idea it was from Vermont! This location offers an awesome cafe with freshly made bread and pastries; I picked up a chocolate chip cookie, a pack of sea salt brownies, hamburger buns, a biscuit, and a slice of carrot cake. They also have a huge store for all of your baking needs, including all kinds of flour mixes (gluten free and keto as well) for scones, muffins, brownies etc and other products you won’t find in your everyday store.

I had no idea how much I would be overwhelmed with excitement when we visited, but this was an amazing place! The cafe is adorable with delicious offerings, the shop is amazing with all the variety King Arthur has to offer- every baking thing Ive ever thought of thats for sure! And I am already looking forward to going back and taking a class. On warmer days theres an outdoor pizza oven and open space for kids to run around in addition to the indoor cafe- looking forward to a repeat visit

A must visit! The store is iconic and the food is fantastic. Sandwiches on fresh bread can’t be beaten. 10/10!

This was an awesome place to see in person after buying their flour from the store all the time. I accidentally spilled my hazelnut latte, and one of the workers was kind enough to make me another one. The chocolate croissant was delicious. It was cool to see them baking bread, and I got plenty of things from the store as well.

Yes.
Put in a closed jar with an orange for a week. Works with hardened brown sugar too.
You can but you need to check the amount of time for cupcakes and keep an eye on your oven
I recommend you call them
They still are posting daily. If you search their account, you'll see their recent posts.
Yea
Yes all open must wear a mask
Unless there's something I don't know, King Arthur flour/baking company should be open for business as usual. You will still find that the cafe is very low key. They also still very rigidly follow the covid standard so you will be expected to wear a mask inside. Outside they ask you to wear a mask but if your distance enough from everybody else you should be able to take it off. If you're still not sure about the opening as the person who also responded give them a call directly and they will tell you for sure but like I said they should be open I don't see any reason why they wouldn't be.
Outside only. But well worth the stop. Food is great.
No dine in. Temperature check at the door. Social distancing well planned.
Call the baker's hotline. They know
Try cupcakes, or muffins.
They do ship, but I don't know if it's free. I believe that the website might be The Bakers Store (.com) all one word. I don't know what type of large quantities you are looking for. You can always call them as well. I actually was there several weeks ago, and I was unable to obtain the Semolina Flour I was looking for, when I called to place my order for curbside pickup, but I was able to get Bread Flour and other flour I was looking for. I do know that the Bakers Store does do shipping of all their available products. It's amazing how the U.S. is suddenly out of Flour and yeast in addition to meat and eggs. Where's it all going to???
The store/cafe is open until 3pm Dec 31st
Give them a call
I always try to stick by the use by date but have gone by it and had good luck
I'm sure it is but making it is a great option
Sorry, I do not recall what they cost but dont expect bargains. I typically spend $20 to $50 at the bakery and never think it's not worth it.
https://www.kingarthurflour.com/visit/cafe-menu.html Unfortunately they do not.
Start with a small bowl of lukewarm water, add a quarter of a teaspoon of your yeast to the lukewarm water, and wait ten minutes. If bubbles are forming on top the yeast is still good.
If you call or email the KAF bakers hotline they are very helpful :)
I live in rural NY. My guess is the best flour is just that popular, that and deliveries may be a bit slow with two major holidays this week and temps a dozen and more below zero.
I looked up my notes: for dinner rolls milk or water between 100~110°F. I'm not sure if that goes for other kinds of rolls.
Either in the microwave or in a bowl in light boiling water.
Yep! Free wifi, I use it every time I'm there and have never had an issue.
King Arthur is a B Corp owned 100% by employees. There is a Senior Executive Team that runs the company now that the CEO resigned.
