*updated* I am currently sitting at the bus.stop at Fred Meyers which I have since.a.little after 4pm... It is now 5:30pm and the bus NEVER SHOWED UP. It's raining, I have a paper bag of HEAVY groceries, and I've got to walk 4 blocks to make it home. Anyone relying on the bus.in central Oregon has a better chance of getting to their location by tricycle piloted by a squirrel than to go by bus. My biggest complaint with our local bus service is the way some drivers ( please note that I said SOME drivers ) stigmatize and discriminate some of the riders, mainly anyone who appears to be homeless. I understand no one wants to deal with inebriated and/or unruly passengers, but I'm not speaking of those. I have seen drivers refuse service arbitrarily to people who were sober, compliant, with exact change based on the person's attire, the amount of baggage, etc. I have been privy to drivers mocking and humiliating riders, too, because I have been that rider. It is not right and if there is a problem for someone to work with those of lower socio-economical statuses, then they have made a serious vocational error by working in public transit. That being said, there are many drivers I look forward to riding with ( such as Kevin and Rudy and quite a few others who's names I don't know, unfortunately ) who are fair, friendly, and a genuine asset to this company.

Unreliable service, rude and controlling drivers, the #4 sits and waits at BK for 3-7 minutes EVEN WHEN They're ALREADY 10 MINUTES BEHIND SCHEDULE!!! One female driver gets upset if someone stands up while the bus is still moving. NO WHERE is this rule stated, she just likes to control people, and after putting people in their place she will tell them to have a blessed day....😵😖😡

Even though hangout for the homeless, buses run on schedule majority of the time. All but one bus driver is courteous. Found that there is a variance in which drivers abide by the rules. Would love to have Sunday service. Thankful that there is a bus service.

Anemic coverage, unpredictably early/late timetable adherence , minimal hours of operation and no Sunday service makes Central Oregon's only public transportation service not recommended; especially risky for commuting to work or time sensitive appointments. If you do use it: high bus operator turnover rate has resulted in hiring waves that turn out batches of aggressive, confrontational, disinterested and unpleasant drivers, contemptuous of the public, that greatly outnumber the few experienced and pleasantly professional transit employees.

No. But rhe Bend Breeze does.
Call CET ...things keep changing....there's a driver shortage

You would have to ask security there. I'm pretty sure you can but definitely ask security to be on the safe side.
