The drivers should stop somewhere at Government Camp. They have a gas station and port a potties, even in the snow. It is not that bad, he could have got through. People need a bathroom break.

Pros: -nice drivers -good option to get where you need to go for not too much $$$ -decently comfortable and there's charger cords Cons: -the last two times I rode with the breeze it wasn't on time. First, the bus was 30 minutes late with no explanation. Yesterday, I got to Bend at 8:15 when my ticket said arrival was 7:35. I had someone waiting there for an hour to pick me up. I got on the bus at 2:40 and don't understand how it could take THAT long to get from Portland to Bend... when I drive it takes at most 3 hours. -people don't always follow the mask mandate, even the driver one of the times I was riding recently wasnt wearing a mask correctly...I don't really mind but I'm more thinking of the old people that ride the bus that are put at risk. Overall I'll still use the breeze because of the convenience of going back to bend from Portland and vice versa. But I hope the timing gets better because arriving 40 mins later than expected is a bit much..

I first used this service in 2016 because my boyfriend and I have a long distance relationship and it was the only transportation we had to see each other. I loved this company at first because it was great customer service and it was an easy way to get to Central Oregon from Portland. My favorite part about this service has always been the bus drivers. They were always friendly and I enjoyed talking with them on the trips. They also got the experience driving through the pass and they have proved that. I always felt safe being on the bus. The fares were pretty good too. The downside I've had with this company at the time was a very rude manager covering for a driver, and that the buses have never been that comfortable to me. Otherwise, it's a great company. This is why I've given 3 stars to this company: I can't believe how much the fare policy has changed. It used to be that you only had one type of ticket with no penalties (unless under 24 hrs till you depart) and they're wasn't a penalty fee just for changing or cancelling a ticket unless it's under 24 hrs till you depart. There was also NO BOOKING FEES on any ticket. Now it seems like no matter what kind of change you make to a ticket, you are getting penalized no matter what. I understand that the company needs to make money to manage their buses and pay for gas, but I personally think they are going too far with the penalties. This truly is a good service, but they really need to change their fares. It's just ridiculous to deal with that, especially if something comes up and you can't get your money back, unless you pay more for a better ticket. Thankfully I have my drivers license and my own car, so I can easily see my boyfriend now on my own time. The cost of gas for me is actually less than a round trip ticket too!

As an Uber driver myself, I can honestly say that the customer service I received was excellent. I wanted to get home sooner after a trip to Israel and the office staff and driver worked together to help me get HOME. I had purchased the 6:00 p.m. ticket, but my flight arrived earlier giving me a shot at the 2:00 pick-up. I got a seat! The bus ran on time from PDX to all stops on the way to Bend. Thanks Peggy, for being a kind, excellent driver! (And folks keep in mind, in the world of Google Reviews, most satisfied customers won't post a review, only the non-grateful people will. So, think about it. If C.O. Breeze has only 20 reviews in total, that says a LOT- a lot of good!)

Not that you can use. They do make bathroom stops. I believe one is in Madras and the other is at the rest area on Hood.

Sisters Country people are almost isolated from any public transportation. No buses to Salem, Eugene, Portland, the coast and only one bus leaving at 7:13 from Rays to Bend and not returning until late afternoon. An opportunity for a good business?

Joan- there is a shuttle service that passes though Sisters to Salem. There is also Cascade East Transit (CET) that has daily buses connecting Sisters with Redmond and the rest of Central Oregon. And soon we will be working on a connection with CET, again, at the new Redmond Transit Station, allowing people to Connect with the Central Oregon Breeze heading to the Portland Area. Thanks for your questions/comments.

Do you go to Sisters from Bend and to Bend from Sisters?

Joan Power | Sep 6, 2019
Central Oregon Breeze | Sep 6, 2019

We do make some connections between CET from Sisters to our stop in Redmond at the Redmond Transit Hub (RTH). The RTH has a free park and ride area, and is located behind Fred Meyers and Lowes on SW Kalama Ave. between Veterans Way and SW 6th St. Find our times and make a reservation at COBREEZE.COM
