We went to look for a kitten...my children's first pet...wasn't expecting to fall in love but boy oh BOY! Mist came into our lives and we can't be more thankful to The Plainfield Humane Society for such a special addition to our family. The people there REALLY love their work...aside from the smell (to be expected at an animal shelter) it was a pleasure being there to see the animals...would recommend.

We adopted Maddie a one year old cat. She is wonderful. The people there were so nice and helpful. A total of five cats were adopted that day

We didn’t end up adopting. Just didn’t find the right dog for us. Not yet anyway. Everyone was pleasant and helpful and it was nice that they took the dogs out if you want to spend a little with them. The kennels and crates were clean and it seemed like a business but caring place.

First I want to say the Executive Director, Elijah is beyond arrogant and definitely not in the correct line of work. He calls this place a humane society? Today, I went with my friend to adopt a dog, and he wouldn't allow her to adopt him. He said that he was euthanizing him! What type of HUMANE SOCIETY is this!?! They have over 20 dogs in the back and three on their website. He stated the dog NOAH is aggressive. My friend is a retired cop, she has dealt with a lot more aggressive things in her line of work than a dog that he may believe is aggressive. Anyone would be aggressive sitting in a cage all day. What is even more nerve racking is that they are asking the community to feel bad for them, when they do not even feel bad for these animals. If I could rate it as a zero, I would! Absolutely disgusting, and around the holidays of all the days!

I would think so but call to check to be on the safe side.

Yes always!
http://www.dutchcountryanimalrescue.org/ Why would you out him to sleep? Contact a rescue group or no kill shelter. You are required to surrender the dog back to the shelter you got him. It's a contract.
Yes
Hi, Yes we can accept cats without vet information.
Call
Don't know. Sorry
Contact kitty cottage? It's in norristown pa but worth the trip as a no kill, no crate shelter. Next best would be go on PETFINDER.COM. Look for a local rescue group. If you cant secure a place, we can foster for. You and screen applicants so they can stay together
