I had the pleasure of meeting and being assisted by Nicholas at Bertera Subaru! As purchasing a vehicle is often a challenging process under finances, and finding the best suited car, Nicholas went above and beyond to ensure I made the best investment not only for myself, but my family. Nicholas is a conscientious, informed, and highly educated dealer. He dedicates time to customers and deeply cares about their preferences, and perspectives at the dealership. Also, Nicholas is not only in sales, but embeds a special touch when tending to customers. After such a difficult time past the pandemic, Nicholas has been most helpful to my family and myself throughout this adjustment, and welcoming of our new Subaru! I hope to see Nicholas again at Bertera Subaru, as I am fully assured I will return for my family’s next Subaru in many years to come! I recommend Nicholas to each and every customer who walks in. He is non judging, friendly, and a wonderful face to guide you in choosing the right car for you! Thank you to Nicholas for your service in helping me buy my first car, and for your care and guidance towards my family! Your support is overwhelming, and has highly impacted my family! We are grateful for you and Bertera Subaru for all of your support! Thank you!

I had a great experience at Subaru Hartford. They were a bit of a drive for me but it ended up being well worth my while. I love the dog friendly atmosphere! One thing I wish they did was ride along with you for the test drive and explain the details of the car. All in all I am glad I am a new Subaru owner. The car drives really good, I love how it has a low profile. As a short person I can reach the roof with out a ladder. This will make packing for our annual camping trip a lot easier. Some of the safety features are a bit annoying, but I figured out how to turn them off. Best saved for long car rides and when you feel sleepy. WHERE IS THE AWD!?!? I plan to make an appointment with my local Subaru to have them explain the car as well as put the security locks on the tires. The locks where handed to me to figure out how to put them on the tires?

This dealership gave me the single worst car buying experience of my life. Here is just the facts supported by pictures: July 2021, I deposited 2000.00 towards a 2018 Subaru Crosstrek that had recently arrived on the lot at Bertera. The vehicle was pending inspection for certification as a pre-owned vehicle, and there were obvious cosmetic flaws when I saw it. Namely, there was a large hole in the center of the rear bench seat from the previous owner's dog eating the upholstery. I was promised verbatim that "a brand new seat" would be installed and the vehicle would be fully inspected, repaired, and certified by the dealership when I returned to finish the purchase in 12 days. When I returned, I was hurried through the contract and nobody made any effort to show me the vehicle. I quickly realized that upon signing the contract I would be bound to accept the vehicle as-is. At this point I refused to sign without seeing that the repairs had indeed been completed as originally promised. It turned out the promises were a bonafide bait-and-switch. When I looked at the car I found the backseat was not replaced, but instead an ugly felt and contact glue patch had been melded over the hole. When I passed my hand over it, it cracked, peeled, and shed black fiber all over my hand. I told them I wanted a warranty on the patch and they eventually said they'd warranty their work for 60 days. The salesman Dominic bashfully blamed the detailing company for the poor work. Foolishly, I chose to honor my deposit and purchase the car. Exactly 1 day later, the patch on the seat failed. I sent photos to the dealer and they agreed to fix the damage. At this point, I give Bertera 1 star for service, because they let me use a courtesy car while mine was in repair. I was told the repairs would take 4 days, when in reality it took a week. When I was called and emailed an appointment to retrieve my car I experienced a strange confusion from the employees on where my car was. When they finally did bring it to me I took one last chance to inspect their work, and what I found was beyond insulting. Bertera had indeed replaced the backseat in the vehicle, but they had used a seat that came out of an obviously wrecked vehicle which I suspect the backseat passenger died on. The seat was dusty with airbag residue and the upholstery was stained with waste and spots of blood. *SEE PICTURES* The seat smelled of ammonia and I shudder to think of the source of the smell. I immediately demand the seat be removed and cleaned. Everyone in the repair shop started apologizing with 10 dollar promises to fix it. The loaner car was again offered to me, but the damage was done. I wasted an entire day driving to Hartford from New Haven, waiting around on them, and putting my plans on hold. The following day I was able to pick up my car and I once again had a terrible customer service experience. I was hurriedly asked to sign papers before seeing the car, and the salesman became annoyed when i refused without seeing the repairs first. In a demeaning tone I was told "we are a professional dealership, Sir" and my disagreement was rebuffed with an equally sarcastic "Well I'm sorry you feel that way". The seat was finally cleaned, but remains damp to the touch. By now I was entirely sick of Bertera Subaru but knew I could not reneg on my purchase. I accepted the car only to find once the seat dried that there still was small stains... I genuinely doubt the vehicle was ever inspected and I have since discovered the center console power outlet does not work. They only gave me one key for the car (which I have subsequently learned would disqualify a car from "certified"). Lesson learned for me, but there still hope for you Reader...don't buy your car here!

My experience at Bertera Subaru in Hartford was amazing. My salesperson Lucas was outstanding. He was so friendly and not pushy like some Car salespersons who just want to make a sale . He showed my every new feature and explained it to me on my new 2021 Subaru crosstrek. Lucas even got me driving home in my new vehicle the same day which really surprised me because my appointment was so late in the day . I am so happy that I went to Bertera Subaru!!! I will recommend anyone I know looking to buy a vehicle to go to Bertera Subaru in Hartford and to ask for Lucas! I love my new Subaru ! Thank you Lucas !!!!!

To be honest viewing it in person is more likely better to see than a 3D model in website . We risk it but we were safe in this time . It’s like buying or renting a home you gotta see it and feel it in person . In my opinion
