Great, great , great Nursery! The fields are beautiful and inspiring and they have the most interesting array of perennials I have ever seen. This is a true nursery and you will have these plants in your garden for life ( I actually have some that my parents planted from them and they are still lovely and the color has not diminished with time). Daylilies are a great perennials because unlike other perennials, they come in an amazing number of colors and Debbie has given me some advice on how to select plants so that I have great color from early summer through fall. Just a great resource!

We visited the nursery today for the first time in maybe 6 to 7 years. We were very disappointed in the overall appearance of the entire grounds. More weeds than plants in many areas except the fields. It showed a complete lack of maintenance, mulching plant beds. We were told if we were going into the fields to choose lilies, we would need some protection on our ankles (which she would supply) to protect us from the poison ivy in the fields. No way we were going to go out there. You would think they would have eradicated poison ivy to protect their customers. We left without purchasing a thing and don't plan to return. The previous owners had a great operation, not like today. Some things don't change for the better.

I have been excited and anxiously awaiting the opening of this Nursery, as I had recently moved back to Rehoboth... however I will never return. My questions to the staff seemed an annoyance. They were uninterested in my purchase and general presence... I'm extremely disappointed

Purchased shrubs here last season with great service, along with end of season prices that worked well. The shrubs were healthy, and was looking forward to dealing with this business again this year. I received a recent mailing mentioning self-guided walks every Friday in July. Called last night before going, and man was the woman who answered the phone was rude and abruptly hung up on me. Questions & Answers

I maybe moving in winter, I want to dig up my daylilies in the fall & place them in buckets do I cover them with dirt? Do I water through the winter? Do I store the buckets in basement or garage? When would they be safe to plant outside?

Donna, I do not know where you live and the conditions, so this is not an easy answer. You can dig the daylilies and pot them in order to move them. They will go dormant if you are in a northern climate, so you do not need to water. Storing them in a cool garage should work just fine.
