We made a purchase in early March- delivery scheduled for early July. 2 days before they called to push back to August. When we got a reminder voicemail 3 days before- but within 72 hours of delivery to confirm. We called back the next day - 2 days before delivery to change delivery, as we would be out of town. Was told they need 72 hours notice or there is a $50 rescheduling charge. I told them we weren’t given 72 hours. They said they told us in July. True, but they had already postponed, we assumed that would happen again until confirmation. I the. spoke to Javier who said he was the Sales Manager, and told me the same thing. I read him my receipt, that said we could call up until 24 hours before to reschedule and it was a $49 charge. He said he was absolutely not able to budge on the 72 hour time rule. I then asked if I could just cancel my order, and he was very eager to do so. Seems odd that a business would be more willing to lose a sale than reschedule. He did give me corporate’s number, and I spoke with Mike. He said the 72 hours was not correct, and that it was indeed 24 hours, which we were well outside of. He was very nice, but couldn’t do much since there was a credit pending that takes 5-7 days to be refunded. I have since looked on the website, which also states 24 hours. Not sure where Javier is getting his information from. I have now gotten 2 automated called and a text in the past hour since I talked to them “confirming my delivery” - the one I cancelled.

2nd purchase in about 7 years and I’m completely satisfied, once again. My bedroom set is gorgeous and fits my room/home perfectly!!! The delivery was on time, friendly and efficient! I will be returning for more beautiful furniture for my home!! Would recommend to anyone!!

Value City Furniture was the only place I found the furniture I absolutely love! Mya was the saleswoman I had and everything I pictured in my head she would find in the store and show me. She was wonderful. She helped with selections, she showed me all different styles of mattresses and worked with me to find the perfect furniture for my new home. Lastly, the delivery team was awesome! They were very professional and arranged everything in a timely manner. I will forever use this furniture store!

Delivery dates were changed 3 time with no communication except from delivery warehouse to tell me my purchases were delayed until September. No one notified me from the store. I had to cancel a purchase over $5,000 at south blvd location and settle for available furniture after visiting university location. Even then my dining room set will not arrive until July. When I finally did receive my bedroom set on 5/13/22, the dresser was damaged. I opted to have a repairman come to fix it since I did not want to be without furniture any longer. I understand the delays on furniture due to Covid however communication was very poor overall. Quality of furniture is questionable. Only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because of the salesperson at university location that was very helpful and kind. I did go to another furniture store however all the items I wanted were back ordered until July. In hindsight, I should’ve opted for that store for better quality. Overall, would not recommend. -Marie L.
