just ok. I have no idea what the hype is about this place. came here for lunch. the location and the out door seating were nice but the restaurant is nothing impressive. the service was super slow, the food was presented nicely but it was just ok. they asked for temps for the steaks and they both came out very well done and dry. the tostones tasted as if they were made that morning. the calamari was soggy. the drinks were good, but even fine dining places in boston don't charge 18$ for a margarita... and it has nothing to do with the price, as long as the food matches. but 🤷🏽♀️ plus gratuity is automatic. regardless of subpar service

1st time - Wait time wasn't bad, service, food and drinks were all delicious will definitely go back. Worth the drive!!!! 2nd time - no wait time, drinks were on point, we ordered appetizers and waited a little bit before ordering our entrees when the server advised us to order the food cause the kitchen was getting backed up, so we did and like 10 minutes later our food comes out cold and before our appetizers which came like 5 minutes after and it was the wrong appetizers I told the server it was the wrong appetizers and they offered to take them back but never suggested to have the ones ordered be brought back. It was one of days that small things count, they should've been better and with this review I say "total disappointment" and never driving the hour again for that type of service. 👎👎👎👎

The food was super flavorful, with perfect texture.. The steak was PERFECTLY (slightly) charred on the grill. (I ordered the Thai salad with steak). The plating of the food was done in a creative and visually appealing way (nachos were served in a rustic unfinished wooden bowl & salad was stacked). Even the sauces served were perfectly paired with the menu items (I got the yuca fries with "mayo-ketchup" I believe she called it). The drinks were also served in unique glasses with attention to garnish. The restaurant is trendy with great photo ops & ambience. There's also a cute outdoor dining patio area. The lighting was unusual and interesting as well. The music was lively and at a perfect volume. They sang happy birthday to 2 parties during our visit and clapped and played a song for them over the speaker, while they brought out a dessert with a lit candle which I thought was nice The waitress was bilingual, good natured and attentive. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars was the wait time for the food to come out from the kitchen, which wasn't the waitress's fault (about 45 minutes for a steak salad). But other than that, it's perfect! 10/10 recommend! 👌🏽

The vibe and the music was delightful. However the seating and tables was too close to eachother, so much so that the waitor/watresses was bumping my chair to get by. The portions of food was good for its price. The mango frozen alcohol drink was bad. Just foam like mango juice. Although the food was alright the wait was very long I was just happy the food came out warm.

I believe they stop serving at 11:30-12. They close at 1am.. If I'm not mistaking.
There's a public parking in Essex Street near the restaurant
Masks are worn temperatures taken at door by a ipad type machine and social distancing practiced
Every restaurant makes ceviche different had experience myself went to restaurant and shrimp was raw instead of pre cooked. Next time ask how there ceviche is made for future visits at new restaurants
Every restaurant is closed down because of the virus. It's in Dominican Republic & Puerto Rico now too. It's EVERYWHERE! The Whole World is going into Lockdown. It's the End of The World as we know it. It's in The Holy Bible. God is Coming. Pray.
