This was my first time in this store. The produce looked extremely fresh I love the yogurt fruit cups. I round the corner, WOW a complete aisle of MEATS!! I haven't seen that much meat in my life, and I love meat! Everything looked so good, I ended up purchasing some NY strip steaks, stuffed chicken breast and a whole brisket for smoking! The shelves were very well stocked compared to other stores I've shopped. Also, I was surprised to see the store care craft beers & wine! I couldn't believe they carried my favorite cabernet, Caymus! Being this was the first time in the store I had to ask the employees where things were located. The actually took me to the item! It is rare to see that great level customer service, and most of all they did it with a smile. I will definitely be back here again. It is good to see a small independent store competing with the lifeless chain supermarkets!

A very good store overall, but pre-made/marinated meats is not even edible for my dog. The meats are not trimmed, bones and cartlitges. You purchase 4 pound and when your done cleaning it, it’s more like one pound. The taste is not desirable and cost is outrageous!! Pls show your quality in that area as you do everywhere else

I don't see the live animals in back, but there is a nice window into their butcher area. I've yet to get a bad piece of meat here.

Hi, at McKinnon's we have worked to make a clean and safe environment to work and shop for customers and employees since the start of the pandemic. Among the measures we have taken include: • All employees and customers are required to wear masks upon entering the store • All are asked to social distance when working or shopping (min 6 feet distance) • We have installed plexiglass at checkout counters between customers and cashiers • We provide contactless checkout via Applepay, Samsung Pay and G-Pay • We have instituted special shopping hours for senior citizens and those with impaired immune systems • We provide wipes and disinfectants at entrances for carts and baskets • We have marked lanes and waiting lines to aid in social distancing • All employees frequently clean and sanitize often used surfaces • We have temporarily closed down self-serve departments and sampling stations until further notice.

They actually almost always carry both, especially rabbit which can be found in the frozen foods section near the milk. If they don't have specifically what you're looking for it can be ordered.
