How in the world do you find out what's going on at the senior center? Oops, I mean community center? That's how it was sold to taxpayers, after all.

The council on aging newsletter is available monthly but many other functions go on there as well. There is a church that meets there on Sundays, tinkergarten meets there, there is a community garden, lots of functions and meetings take place there as well.

How do I go about volunteering to work in a kitchen for meals on wheels or other needed kitchen help?

Call the council on aging at 508 378 1620 and speak to Nancy Hill or one of the staff. Tell them you'd like to volunteer in the kitchen or with meals on wheels. They are always looking for good volunteers to help.
