The worst experience in an ER ever!!!!! my husband was taken by ambulance and they wrote him off as a panic attack with a heart rate of over 140 bpm and convulsions at a heart rate of 165bpm. Dr. Copenhaven and his nurse were not empathetic and were very dismissive. Four days later we found out it is a cardiovascular issue. THANK FOR NOTHING!!!!!!!!!

Horrible unprofessional hospital. Will release your private information without consent and talk about it between staff. Hospital should be sued and shut down and people in charge should be imprisoned. I don’t know how they are still allowed to commit the crimes they do.

They actually don’t deserve even one star. Probably the worst hospital I’ve ever had to deal with, aside from the doctors, they’re great. We have had billing issues for my daughter since Sept 2020. They were sending mail to an address that does not get mail and were well aware mail does not get delivered there and to send it to the PO Box. In September I called because we were getting collection notices on bills we never received. I asked them what bills were there so I could pay those, which I did. They’re ruining my husbands credit, through no fault of his own AND they have sent bills to collections in my daughters name. Who is a CHILD. I’m not even sure how that happens but way to go on ruining a child’s credit before they can even get started in life. Fast forward to now, we have not seen one new bill since October and now getting bills from before September 2020 when I paid all the bills that were there. I have tried calling billing NUMEROUS times. To this day I have gotten zero help with this. I still have no clue what hat is owed there. Last Friday, I finally got a call back from billing who told me they would send me an email with what unpaid bills are there. It’s now a week later and I have gotten no email. I called during the week, left messages with no call back. Robin did call me back today (she was pleasant) and told me she would email me on Monday. I’m curious to see if I actually get an email from them. Other doctors offices have told me if there was a balance owed if I was in for an appointment or they would call me about it. Huggins does not do this. I can only imagine how they would feel if this was happening to them. The switchboard operator is as rude as they come and that’s putting it nicely. I honestly can’t believe they have someone with her attitude being their first line of contact for the hospital. I’ve had spoken to her many times and most recently I tried to tell her I didn’t want to be transferred and instead was wondering if there was an email address I could contact billing with but she didn’t let me get far enough to ask for an email, instead she spoke over me and when I asked her to let me finish she wouldn’t and continued to speak over me and just transferred me without even telling me where she was transferring me. After I got transferred, I once again, got voicemail. I called back AGAIN and asked for her name, without saying one word she hung up on me. I called AGAIN, I said “can you please tell me your name” she refused to give it to me, she instead raised her voice at me telling me she was transferring me, when I didn’t want to be transferred nor did I even know where I was being transferred too or for what reason. I then had to call back AGAIN and ask for the person who is in charge of the hospital. I believe I got the voicemail of someone named Jacquline or Jackie who I also left a message for. I hope whoever is in charge of this hospital looks into this situation. I can guarantee I’m not the only person this has happened to. The employees of this hospital are some of the rudest people I’ve ever had contact with. It’s not just switch board it’s other receptionists as well. The switchboard operator who was working today 4/16/21 should not be working there. I don’t know how a hospital can have someone be their first line of contact that is so unbelievably rude, callus, speaks over you and doesn’t listen to what you are trying to ask. Let’s not mention hangs up on your patients and offers zero help. I know there are many people who live near this hospital and will not use them. Instead, they go to Concord. Which I’ll be doing also. Huggins, your hospital needs better training for your employees in every aspect of a business. Perhaps invest in that. Your employees represent the hospital, especially your first line of contact. It’s clear they hate their job and are miserable. I’d expect better from a hospital but I’m finding you truly do not care about your patients.
