Jenn and Pat are amazing, they go above & beyond to help animals. They've even taken dogs from kill shelters to save their lives. They do a lot to help out, they'll keep an animal there as long as it takes and do not euthanize dogs or cats for space like many places do. If you have time or money, please consider helping them and if you're looking for a new pet, check them 1st and if they don't have an animal that you're looking for, they can point in the direction of a good shelter or rescue that can.

I was visiting the area during a Thanksgiving holiday and was looking for a dog to adopt. I came to this shelter and found a young Black Lab/Pit bull mix whom I fell in love with after staff allowed me to take him out of kennel to test and play with. I wasn't able to take him home that day, as I was still visiting folks here. This shelter offered to hold "Coltrane" for me for the three more days I'd be in town, and I could pick him up on my way home to Vermont. The staff here are wonderfully caring toward people and animals. "Coltrane" turned out to be one of the best dogs I've ever owned! Thank you all for your continuing support to the animals you hold in your care until they find the perfect home.
