Honestly a perfect example of you get what you pay for. Sure the the rooms are outdated and there is a small breakfast selection. But I mean 70 bucks for a hotel room idk what people thought they were getting 😂. The staff is very nice. The beds are very big! I think they could DEFINITELY step up cleaning though. I don’t think price is an excuse for cleaning. Room smelled like BO and there was some uhm uh bodily fluid on the bed skirt. I’m not saying don’t come here, but just know this is what 70 dollars gets you lol

Age of Exploring

Staff is super friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. There's food within walking distance and the breakfast they serve is nice. But it's an older building and could probably use some TLC. For instance, the light cover in the bathroom was missing. Big deal? No. But it's the little things like that. Will it serve your purpose? Yes, it'll have clean beds and a decent restroom.

Algosea

This hotel is undergoing renovations, so please pardon the mess & the dated rooms. Check-in is at 3:00 p.m. check out 11:00 a.m. the lobby was beautifully decorated, but you will see construction going on around you. I believe they were done by 4:00 p.m., possibly 5:00 p.m. but it's easy to get on the main thoroughfares. The staff was very friendly & was able to answer any & all questions I had. The rooms are dated, but they were very clean and comfortable, it's also close to a lot of attractions such as Presque Isle Downs and casino as well as the state parks, a water park & several other attractions as well.
