Everytime I call, a person named Mark answers. He is always extremely competent and does a great job answering all my questions and doing everything exactly how it’s supposed to be done. Great customer service from a local utility provider is rare these days Thanks mark

Much gratitude to the service rep.that put out my service call out and the the service truck gentleman that was immediately here for the KeyBox replacement needed before the under construction project could be completed. So proud of our Anchorage Utility's response and professionalism. Thank you.

Noticed three awwu trucks arrive 30 minutes mins ago infront of my neighbors house. They were messing with something between our properties thought it was them possibly Messibg with the water. So I went over and asked if they were shutting something off. And one guys asked if this was my house and pointed to my neighbors. I said no that is my house there. The guy responded with well it's not your problem then.

We were having some plumbing work done in our home and wanted to ensure the water was turned off at the street level first. Jeremy came out and inspected the area, so we could call a plumber, and said we had a broken pipe and would have to have our yard dug up. It did take a little longer than desired (couple weeks), but we understand because Alaska summers are busy. The digging crew came out today for a couple hours. They repaired the pipe, replaced the dirt and even put the patch of grass back in place to where I wouldn’t even notice they’d done work had I not seen it happen. Appreciate this being done so we can get our projects finished!

Yes, but it's a flat rate. Water is the best in the nation. Has won awards. Oh and water in Alaska is cold.
For Anchorage, they just do filter and release to the Cook Inlet. They have a special permit (NPDES) from Fed's EPA allowing them to do this. For Eagle River and Girdwood, they do more extensive treatment (i.e. Secondary treatment) before they release the treated sewer water back to the ocean.
