As of Feb 8, the trails are mostly a sheet of ice. Trail running requires Kahtoola Microspikes or something similar. Great place to get your blood flowing. I wish there weren't so many new, unmarked trails being cut in all the time. I'm pretty familiar with the area, but a newbie could get twisted around easily and make it a less than fun experience. Lots of parking at the trailhead, or just downhill in thr big Geisinger parking lot.

Beautiful trial but pathway was not marked very well and mostly rocky so boots are definitely a must

Nice trails. The marking could be better. I did the Life Flight trail and it was a nice jaunt. However, there were times I was unsure whether I moved to another trail..

There’s a lot of ascent and some decent (but rocky) downhill. If you like more flowy smoother trails with more berms and jumps I would highly recommend driving the 5 minutes to hopewell memorial park which has much better trails (and a dirt …

Many awesome trails for MTN BIKE. There's an online pdf trail map. Bear trail is probably the easiest. Squirrel, opossum, and Copperhead are most difficult.

Yes, bikes are allowed. I spoke with someone who was getting ready to bike the trail as I was leaving!
