The most rude service I have ever had. First time I went the owner made me feel so bad that I couldn’t hold my cry. He was SO rude and laud at me and pushing me to make a decision fast without giving me the chance for any question and saying that he was not there to educate me. I am new in the area and also raising chickens and I felt completely bad by asking anything. Please note that the chicks were $8 each and they were ok. I decided to give another try 6 months later as nobody is perfect and he could have been having a bad day. Guess what? Unfortunately the next time which was a few days ago I went back and the service again was terrible and in the top of it they charged me $20 dollars for each chick!! The chick were sick with purple medication on, missing a lot feathers but the owner said it’s normal and ok, but 2 days later two have already died and one is looking really sick. My 2 year old baby girl was super excited to go there and as soon as we arrived she was so happy to see the chickens, so she kept saying mommy mommy look chikens!! The owner rudely turned to me immediately, placed his both hands on the head like if she was going to loose his mind abs said: NO need of kids screaming around the birds. She was not screaming she was excited to go get chicks and there was not even 3 min we were on the location. He had other customers at the time was not even serving us yet. I should have turned my back immediately, but I have no ideia why I didn’t. I usually don’t spend time writing reviews unless my experience was REALY bad. Unfortunately it was not only 1 time it was 2 times. I am never going back and regret deeply paying $20 dollars for sick child and for a terrible customer service.

Love this place and the owners too. They have the best eggs, sausages, greens, and so much more! I even got a ty-die dress with pockets that I love also.

Funky Chicken Farms was an amazing experience, I was so pleased with my trip. Suzanne was incredibly kind hearted and shared tons of knowledge with me. I purchased four pounds of worms, two shirts, and some local honey. I will be back to buy rabbits and chicks at some point, and will definitely keep in touch. I would recommend FCF to anyone. She can also be found at the Brevard Farmers Market on Thursdays. (Pictured are the honey and one of the shirts in the background)

I’ve bought chickens here on three different occasions and they have always been healthy and happy. I’m considering going back again soon. I miss my fresh morning eggs :) my neighbor is considering buying also. I may bring her along. Love the place. The couple (owners) are organized and super friendly. Thank you for the great experience. My adult grown kids have made it a typical Father’s Day habit/trip to the farm to get me chickens lol.
