Curlew Hills truly makes an unbearable loss just a little bit easier. Jacob helped me plan the cremation & memorial for my sister. Having never been through this before I honestly had no idea what would/should happen; & planning funeral services is just not something you want to stress over. Jacob was wonderful - he was attentive, meticulous, and beyond helpful. Everything was beautiful. My family is incredibly thankful to Curlew Hills and especially Jacob for doing such an amazing job. Also, a giant thank you to their picture/video team!!! They really outdid themselves. Absolutely recommend - a very beautiful and serene location and a great staff.

I am conflicted as to what rating to give Curlew Hills. We tragically lost our infant grandson almost two years ago. The Curlew Hills staff was absolutely wonderful in helping our daughter plan the service, and the day of the service they were amazing. Which makes the issue we had with them so much more unexpected. People have left mementos at our grandson's resting place to honor his memory. We have always made sure everything was neat and well tended. Recently we came to visit and everything friends and family had left was gone. We went to the office and were told items that were deemed worth saving were out by a fence and if we wanted we could go see if they were still there. To say we were upset is an understatement. We were taken out to a fence at the back of the cemetery where we literally had to dig through objects from other graves to try and find everything. I was appalled. It was explained to us that once a year the cemetery is cleaned so that it will not look trashy. That technically no one is supposed to put anything on a grave. In the almost two years that we have been coming to visit our grandson's resting place nothing like this has ever been done. While there may be a rule, it is not well known. At the very least, some sort of notification or posting would have been appreciated. So while I give Curlew 5 stars for all the planning and handling of the service, I have to give them a 1 star for this situation.

Lauri was absolutely amazing. She was compassionate and understanding and provided me with all the information I needed. She didn’t make me feel rushed and made me feel as though she truly cared and was concerned that we were happy with our choices. She made a difficult process a much easier one.
