James is a professional I called them out to give me a quote on a new system that I will still need I thought my unit was dead, James insisted on looking at my unit first and did some troubleshooting 15 minutes later he had it running. Great question! Most of the time it is condensation which is normal for a unit in unconditioned space like a garage or attic. If the sweating gets excessive you might call us to ensure the drain line is clear, look for air leaks or check the refrigerant charge.
Each home is different which is why we offer a free onsite estimate for new systems. I pay them a protection plan each yr which covers my tune up...twice per yr.
When we install the new system we remove and dispose of the old equipment properly. The refrigerant is reclaimed per EPA standards and the metal is scrapped. We do not sell used parts. If requested by a customer, Sun Kool we will leave the old equipment.
